Defiance did probably the last thing anyone would expect from someone being threatened by a Frenchwoman with a rapier.
She laughed, loud and bright and clear.
"Why don't we have a dozen of ye, sweetheart?" she asked teasingly.
Then she reached out, grabbed the blade of the rapier, and yanked, using the combined momentum of her moving forward and the woman being yanked to her to slip past the Frenchwoman, stealing her pistol from it's holster ((I'm assuming and self-respecting pirate-assassian carries a pistol)).
In a fluid movement she was at the gunwale and aimed, shot, and fired in the space of a heartbeat. The bullet whizzed right over Tracey's head, barely an inch from her scalp - exactly were Defiance had aimed for.
"The this woman, little fishie?" she called. "This is a girl worthy of serving on the Night. Someone I already respect. She's the complete opposite of you in every respect."

( Yes I indeed am- full bodies of each and I was offering to show an example of my style and form of drawing xd Just can't rush me on it but I can say each will be done within 3-4 days or less. My backgrounds are garbage though )

They've been far away from this island. If you want to completly ignore any sense of logic, yes, Tracey has swum several hundred miles out to sea to tag the Night for weeks. With logic, she's never seen the Night before, only heard of her terrifying reputation.

She reached shakily down and pulled out the blowgu nshe'd hidden under the docks. Fititng a small stone into it she aimed it at Defiance. "And I'm not picky about targets either." She gave a blow and the stone sailed right at Defiance, missing her by an inch. "And i've got plenty more where those came from."

Amelie was yanked forward and she felt her pistol removed and fired at the other girl. She leaped away onto the stairs and drew out her other rapier. She held the butt of the weapon to her heart and smiled at the slight praise from the other woman. She saw the girl shoot a stone at the woman. Amelie chuckled. "You'd be more dangerous with a simple of blade of grass." She hollered at the girl. "Or can your fins not carry that much weight?"
