Archon is terrible.

".. Technically?" Soterra seemed a bit lost at that. "Well, whatever. Plenty of time to catch up now, right?" She followed Cypress' eyes onto Archon.

Archon seemed bothered by being stared at and the pigeon even moreso. The both stopped their feuding as the pigeon gave a flap of wings and returned to his shoulder, seemingly dismissively preening himself.
"What?"

"I...nevermind, nothing." Cypress said, shaking his head a little, turning his attention back to Casey. "Are you...with someone?" He hesitantly asked seemingly still a little uncomfortable. Casey perked up.

"Ah yes actually-- I'm helping a .... traveler? Immigrant? I don't actually know what his situation is-- uh I guess I probably should have talked to him about that."
The commander wanted to facepalm-- letting random strange travelers into your home? How was this guy still alive? He knew it was a bit hypocritical, considering his current company, but atleast he knew how to protect himself. He'd never even seen the auburn haired man swat a fly before-- much less pick up any sort of weapon.

"Anyway, I'm just waiting for him here while he gets some supplies-- ah, he's better at haggling with the merchants about prices then I am." he blushed. "It wouldn't do much good for us both to go into that crowd either-" he motioned towards the bustling market "- I'd probably get pickpocketed...."

"Pickpockets? Hah. Not on my watch. One would be a fool to mess with someone like me." Archon laughed rather boisterously.
"You would be safe with our company, rest assured."

Soterra just shook his head at Archon and sighed, turning her attention to Casey. "..Well, I know a bit of magic too. Dark magic mostly, but enough to pop someone's head off if you need me to. Think you're in good hands."

(Yeah Wendall, I say traveler/immigrant bc i honestly have no explanation for why he's in Ruskar, but he came from the Meadowlands.)

"Oh, I mean I can take care of myself....and by that I mean I just don't go into crowds with any of my stuff." He fell silent for a second. "--Actually yeah you know what, thanks, I could probably use the supervision." the human said in a rare case of reflection.

A werewolf materialized at the edge of the crowd, breaking Casey from his pondering. "There he is..." he muttered, waving the newcomer over.

I don't think anyone really needs a reason to travel considering god war and most people wanting to just be safe from it.

Question though, is he the 4 legged dire wolf type of werewolf or is he bipedal in wolf form)

Archon tilted his head almost in sync with Yz at the sight of the werewolf. He let out a whistle and laughed a bit, turning back to Casey.
"Well, with someone like *that* around, you wouldn't even need anyone's help. Quite some friend."

Soterra nodded in silent agreement. A werewolf was definitely an unusual sight, especially in these lands. She almost found it strangely conforming to know she wasn't the only foreigner to these lands.

(Dire wolf type, I later did add a photo of what his wolf form looks like. In human form he just has a pair of ears and a tail, he has a forced change during full moon, but outside of that he can change to-and-from as much as he likes. Hm, he could be on the run from Belos perhaps? I'm going to write Belos kind of...scary xD The cool but scary type, so I imagine he wouldn't be very "pleased" with Wendalls behavior. Unlike Verasil, who is going to be murderous and loud about Cypress' rebellion, Belos will be the dismissive "dissapointed" type. Anyway so maybe Belos is like, trying to kill him ... passively-ish, if that makes sense.)

Said werewolf regarded the newcomers warily as he sidled up to Casey, nose slightly wrinkled like he smelled something unpleasant. He handed over a thick roll of white thread from his rucksack and Casey lit up.

"Oh good you got it! I hope Vernin didn't give you too much trouble... he's always been a bit fickle to deal with.." he trailed off, looking to the side.

"Not at all... who are your companions?" The werewolf asked softly, just loud enough to be heard over the ruckus and racket.

"Of course! Wendall, this is Cypress...ahm, ah, Soterra? That was your name r-right? And um--" Casey blanked "Ahh.... p-pigeon...man? I'm sorry I don't remember your name-- Anyway! You guys, meet Wendall, he's been staying with me for the last couple ah' weeks."

"Pigeon man.. Well, I certainly asked for that one, didn't I?"
He nudged the pigeon on his shoulder with a finger who promptly tried to bite him.
"H-Hey." He said, trying to pry the finger out of the bird's mouth. "..H-Honestly, though.. my name is Archon. Nice to meet you."

Soterra dipped her head slightly in greeting to Wendell. "It's nice to meet you. Don't.. mind him."
She gestured dismissively at Archon who only shot her a confused look back.
"Have you traveled far? You don't look like you're much from around here."

Wendalls eyes lingered on the tiefling and his pigeon for a second longer than necessary... he didn't really have a scent, or nothing the werewolf was familiar with anyway. "Its a pleasure to make your acquaintance, Archon." Casey made an embarrassed sound next to him.

"And I'm not, just ah- seeing what the world is like outside of Agren, I'm on a bit of a cultural exploration I suppose. " Wendall answered to the elvish girl.

Now that he was closer to the group he was sure. He didn't want to alarm Casey, but their newfound company carried a strange undercurrent of death. And metal. The one sulking at the back of the group reeked of smoke, ash, and iron. It was a bit distracting to say the least. He'd talk to Casey about it later.

Speaking of the auburn-- "Well um, I've got work to do-- say, why don't you all come back with me? We can talk more there, where its not as loud." Casey piped up.

"I see." Soterra gave him a nod and followed behind the werewolf.
"I hope we aren't keeping you from anything. Would be a shame."

"Certainly. Er.. Where exactly are we going though?" Archon asked, a bit paranoid all of a sudden as the bird on his shoulder cooed to him.

"Just follow the leader, showboy. Aren't you carnies good for that anyways?" Soterra rolled her eyes at him.

*inhales* *exhales* so. This has died. Or well it hasn't! I mean I still remember its thing (obvsly) and stuff but like. Uhhh okay I'm really bad with this stuff because I know I said a bunch of ****** about not abandoning this, but then I kind of just--became ghosty?? And its not your fault of anything I just these last few months have been mediocre and I haven't really got time to write like I had been...or maybe I just got burned put from writing? I dunno, maybe just sylestia in general to be honest, ive kind of been ghosting the whole sight. Anyway I just you don't think I became bored or something all of the sudden, you were a really good partner and stuff and ive honestly never had someone rp like you have before I just...kind of disappeared for awhile and have been putting off this much needed explanation ;-;. I honestly couldn't tell you what led to my silence if I tried though, I know I had a reason at some point but I'm not sure what. There was also a phase where I didn't want to bother you because I remembered that you had a discord rp or Smth that was starting up again and I didn't want to just come back to apologize like a ****** while you were busy. And, I know your busy now! By your status it doesn't seem like your doing so hot health/emotion wise but it didn't really feel right to just leave this without ever coming back with some sort of explanation. Especially because I'd been so adamant about not letting this rp die. I'm really sorry, I know that was one of your peeves, about putting so much into an rp just for it to die. Anyway, its likely I still won't be checking up on sylestia in a regular manner, so I'll leave my discord tag here if you wanna talk. Sven#2952
