Grinchy Griffi


Inspiration is the newer animated Grinch, who looks like his fur is striped/patterned a bit. Tried to figure out a scarf but decided on swirling snow instead.

This Griffi is inspired by the mountains in winter with the snow piled on the ground and amongst the trees. The mists that fill the shade and the semi-darkened clouds that still exist prior to the sun reaching its peak and dispersing them.

Glittering Ice Cave Griffi



Inspiration: My personal inspiration for this design was first and foremost that of sunlight hitting the ice of thick glaciers and shining through them, causing the various colors of blue and white that they give off as they act as prisms of light. This idea was more specifically drawn from the vision of what it looks like in a Glacier cave. Though the colors here are a bit lighter to reflect a fantasy view I had, in an imagination sense, on that vision as opposed to being more realistic. The golden colors represents the sunlit hitting the ice of the Griffi, which causes the prism effects to shine through it's beautiful features made of ice.

Okay, so this one's gonna require a little explanation, since it's not obviously winter themed.

So, when I was in eighth grade I realized I was attracted to both genders. Last year, during late January, early February (during winter) I found the word Pansexual, that I find best describes my sexuality. In case you don't know, pansexual (at least for me) means I'm attracted to all genders and I'm not attracted to people based on anything physical. Since I found the word to describe my sexuality in Winter I thought it would be fun to design a griffi based on the Pansexual flag. Here's my griffi and the flag:

I never got a response to the question that I posted a couple days ago and noticed that Faiona hasn't been online for the past couple of days. I was hoping that maybe you could answer the question and also I hope everything is ok with Faiona.

Winter's Night



My inspiration is based off of a clear night in the middle of winter, it's not snowing but there is just enough of a breeze to cause loose snow to move off tree's or building's. I have seen this enough times visiting family while driving at night (as a passenger) and looking off to the horizon and see a field full of untouched snow and seeing the stars while the light breeze blows the snow. It's actually quite a beautiful sight (at least in my opinion).
