I think the Festive Sylvorpa are almost as rare as the Halloweens. There are only 39 tamed Festive Sylvorpas in total and 14 of them have already been mutated. Most of the other themes have a few hundred to begin with, so I'm pretty sure there are more mutateable ones, too.
I don't know about the pre-tagged ones. Does anyone own any pre-tagged Sylvorpa themes at all?

I actually own a bunch of the pre-tagged. This tab and the next. I still need to regen most of them, too. I've not taken too close of a look at them yet because I know the color swings will give me a headache. I'll have to use my new project thread to keep track of which ones would look best with what.

As far as I can tell, Savynn, the Sunrise Sylvorpa is effectively extinct--

https://www.sylestia.com/forums/?thread=1370&page=1#4

I own one Purebred Sunrise, this girl, who has the interesting name "Sellner Water Toboggan"--

--but I can't find a single male to breed her to. All the ones that are in active accounts are too closely related to her. I have not yet counted all the Tamed Sunrises (heck, I haven't even counted all the Tamed Springtime Zolnixies!), but I haven't found any Tamed who are in active accounts.

Edit: Well, you were posting while I was composing this, and now I think I found where all the Tamed Sunrises went to! (basks in the glory of discovery)

Regarding Tagged Themes, the Cool Night Theme is, surprisingly, not the most endangered. It's the Dark Waters Theme. There were only ever 40 Tagged DW Vorpas, and 3 have been released into the wild. There have only been 49 Tagged Festive Sylvorpas,* of whom 2 have been released. Lucky Sylvorpas are a bit better off; there were 73 Tagged ones**, although 6 were released into the wild.

The Smoothie Sylvorpa has two variants, and there are only 30 Tagged of the Collector's Edition version. Luckily, none have been released into the wild.

Anyhow, there were only ever 92 Cool Night Sylvorpas, of whom 19 have been released into the wild. There were only ever 69 Dark Love Sylvorpas, of whom 1 has been released, but there seems to be a robust number of DL Purebreds.

*I own 5.
**I own 2.

Wow, let me now, if you're ever going to sell offspring.

@ SpaceElf, Mohya

I didn't realize that anyone was having that hard of a time finding any. I have a bunch of all the pre-tagged themes. I'll try to figure out something with mine sooner than later then so we can at least have more offspring out there. I remember now that when the syvlorpa regen first happened I was feeling really annoyed by changes in how some of the traits looked before and after. And so that's why I didn't regen them right away. I also felt confused whether or not to "preserve" them how they were originally or whether I wanted to include new traits. Since then I've changed my attitude towards including newer traits.

But here's an example of the color change I speak of. Koi also used to be my favorite sylvorpa gene. Unfortunately, I just don't think it looks as good now either.

I really liked the original Koi, too, and find the new version disappointing.

However, we now have traits like Alpine Newt and Emperor Angelfish.

Anyhow, I think this would be a really fine 4-Vis Sunrise Sylvorpa--

Sellner already has one of these traits, and two of the others are available through re-gen; no Mutator needed.

And here's a possible 6-Vis--

Normally I don't care for Petal Fins, but it looks good on this Theme, IMO.

We were thinking a bit in the same direction. I was looking at something like a simple 3vis.

I adore pollen marking on these, but all the gene 1's look a bit busy with it to me. Regardless I have enough stock that there should be a good bit of opportunity with offspring having different traits.

Maybe tomorrow I'll try to sit down and go through these like I did recently with the patriotic zolnxies trying to figure out what I like best for each with the current traits available and try to get a good mix.

Sorry Starline, that was meant to be phrased as a question.

Would you let my vorpas breed with those lotus light vorpas at a later date? Was what I was aiming for.
