Theda

Theda looked at the girl and said, "Y-yeah, I'm fine. Don't worry about me."

She turned back to Daniel.

"Which 'dude'? Him," She pointed towards Chase, "Or Dr. Thaddeus Morocco? If your asking about the former, I have no idea." Tears still ran down her cheeks, but Theda seem more emotionally stable now.

"Him," Daniel confirmed, pointing at Chase (whose name he doesn't know). "Are you going to be okay? I didn't mean to make you cry, I just- I don't know how to, you know, talk to girls, I mean, my sister was basically one of the guys." He looked at the dude. "I'm Daniel." He smiled and stuck his hand out for a shake.

Chase

Chase accepted the handshake.

"And I am Chase," he said. He looked over at Theda. "I was not judging you by your father. If I had learned nothing else from Chief, that would be the thing I learned."

He turned back to Daniel

"And where are you from?" he asked, politely.

Topaz:"Child?!Im a adult for crying out loud!"

"Chase. Nice to meet you." Daniel smiled. At the 'where are you from' question, he shrugged. "Some island in the middle of the ocean. You?"

Chase

"Similar to you, except Griffin Rock is technologically advanced. I was from a Griffin Rock that was a 'test' to see if humans would accept aliens, then I went to a Griffin Rock where aliens and humans already lived together." he said.

"More than one Griffin Rock? Seems like it would get confusing," Daniel laughed. He ran his hands through his hair, holding out a piece. He scrutinized it, then looked at Chase. "Think I should cut it? Seems a little long to me."

Kit nodded, she glanced at the other two boys, but then lifted into the air and flew off, she landed beside her mother Malory, "Hey mom." she said simply, Malory smiled, "Hello." she said kissing her on the forehead.

Chase

Chase looked at Daniel.

"If it is affecting your performance, then yes, you should," he said.

Chase glanced at Theda. Something was off with her, he didn't know what.

Daniel narrowed his eyes. What was up with these people? They all seemed so sensitive and they talked like college professors or military people or something. Was this what everybody outside the island sounded like? "I keep it this long for aesthetic. It's not going to get in my way until I look like Rapunzel or something." Daniel wondered if they even knew about that story. He wondered something. "You mentioned two different Griffin Rocks. How many Griffin Rocks are there? And...there were aliens? I was always told aliens aren't real." He laughed. "Of course, then I was told that my uncle, who I'm looking for, by the way, fought off an alien invasion with his team."
