oof, why's it scary?
Okay, DnD...
Hmm...
It's sandbox mode of RPG
Here we go:
You can be practically anything you want. Who you are is yours to decide. Famous, a mother, stranger from a strange land, whatever. One thing is: ya gotta have a reason to adventure, which is also yours to decide.
For example:
*ahem* anyway
There is a DM. They create the world you explore. They'll throw things at you, NPCs, enemies, random events, empty rooms with no enemies, traps or treasure, etc. Luckily, in making a character, you have abilities at your disposal to help your party deal with these events. If you want to check for traps, you'd do a perception check, and roll a d20 (20-sided die). Make a wisdom check against psychic damage, roll a d20 and hope you avoid it.
The DM will give you missions. As you complete them, you earn XP and even treasure.
As you level up and move along, your character becomes stronger and learns new abilities.
You throw dice to determine either what the DM says it determines or attack damage... or at the beggining of the game, various stats for your character
That's about it.
I recommend looking up 'dnd memes', it's surprisingly educational

I DON'T KNOW ANYONE
I don't even know how I started talking on this community
People freak me out
AHHHH *violently shakes Alpha*
Anyways.... I drew a mental picture of a bunch of my OCs being taken a photograph of
I couldn't draw it in real life, though
It just amuses me to mentally look at
Mkay, thanks. Looking at memes now. Instead of doing my precal homework.
Excellent.
Okay, okay, I've run my fair share of RPGs before. A lot of
What's a nat 20?
What's defined as a campaign?
Does stuff, like, carry over?
Do you need to buy weapons and stuff?

Yeah, claws are good. Also, no spoilers or anything, but depending on the weapon you equip you have different possible conversations that generate AFTER you beat a level, if you don't go too quickly...
"What are you thinking about there, Pit?"
"I was just coming up with new ways I could use this bow! For example, I could break it in half and tie them to my feet!"
"Thaaaat would be awkward."
"Or, I could tie the ends with a chain, and use them as nun-chucks!"
"...And that would get your hands cut off."
There's a great one for the claws, Pit says they make him feel "part angel, part ANIMAL" and then Palutena tries to guess what animal he feels like... she settles on penguins, because they're "fun-loving and flightless".
This is Pit.
Note the wings.
He cannot fly.
Everyone roasts him for it.
You can just start to feel his pain after the first few times ;-;

Ah, yes, now the knowledge you seek is clear!
Nat 20--natural 20, as in a perfect roll on a d20 with no added bonus from proficiencies
Crit Fail--a one on a d20. Terrible things happen.
A campaign is a single quest the DM gives you. Sometimes ends in a boss fight or something super climactic. Basically ends when the DM has no more ideas. XP is earned AFTER a campaign.
Yes, it does. Never do a Character Sheet in ink. You need to be able to update it.
You can... but depending on the class you are, you'll be given starting weapons.

Aw such beautiful lovely wings though, even if they don't work as intended. Not every rose has to look perfect to smell nice. He already seems like a small bean im gonna wanna protect xD
I'm a horrible aim unless you don't have to be precise xD I tend to (in games in general) up my HP and Speed and then just hit alot xD If possible, if the fighting style is more delicate and touchy I up HP and ATTK.
Uhhh in one game I played a primary healer role where I had a limited amount of attacks I could do (I learned them by leveling up in certain aspects, but I can only use a certain amount in battle, so i have to choose) and they were almost all healing...I think I was aloud 5? 3 were different heals (excluding my Special which I had to save mana for ofc) and the last two were hard-hitting attacks that left the other attacker lightly poisoned for a few turns.
However in a FPS MMORPG I played a Canon-Class, aka I was fairly slow but my attacks were all high and had a huge range.
If we assume classic RPG classes-- I don't like being a Mage [although id probably do fairly well], Archer, or Healer [which...again im not too shabby at xD]. I like Thief classes for speed because the close range doesn't bother me as much if I'm fast-- as opposed to a swordsman (paladin?).
To sum it up tho, I fair well with a tank-y role, or one were im almost completely out of battle but do have a few hard hitters up my sleeve.

Hey everyone! So I'm under the weather *le cough* and home from school. I'm super heccing bored out of my MIND right now and am wondering if anyone here plays Dauntless? I would love to have sylestia friends on there I'm kinda lonely.
My epic games username is Fluffn_ Ping me with your username and friend me!
I'm actually quite good at the game now that I think about it. (seriously not to brag)
...
StORy TimE! So I was playing with randoms fighting a hellion.
(dis boi right here)
Randoms died one minute in, danger meter got to 100%, revives disabled, resistance down. So I'm over here like, "Oh hecc what do I do?" 'cause all my teammates are down and I'm all alone. So I kinda play it safe. I dodge A LOT and only go in for quick jabs with my warpike. Then shooting for afar with my concussive payloads. I ended up dead too 'cause stupid fire dino went UNDER THE GROUND and then fell on top of me. Oofie. I still take pride in knowing I was better at the game than all those other people lol. I lasted at least 3 times longer than they did.

Omg, that is SO me in Skyrim though. I use cheese to not die and eat about 5 full wheels of cheese a day AT LEAST. Skyrim is a great game even though it is buggy <3
(Also, I know you were talking about DND but I recognized Serana and Aela the Huntress)
