Monika looked at Daniel for a moment, then looked away. He wouldn't know that would've been slightly insulting Yuri, since she never mentioned how Yuri, the non-messed up Yuri, like intelligent guys.

Chase

"Erm, that is very complicated. I was an alien once, but somehow landed in an alternative, role-reversal universe, where those who were aliens were humans and visa versa. I became confused. But, soon, I learned my way.

"To this day, it confuses me how aliens weren't aliens on that Earth." he said, then asked, "Am I talking above your comprehension? If so, maybe I can get Dally over here."

"Well, you sound kind of like some kind of college professor. I mean, I get what you're saying, and the ideas don't make sense but the words do. But I doubt the ideas would make sense to most people. Switching over
from human to alien? I bet even professors wouldn't make much sense out of that." Daniel, slightly miffed by the gibe to his intelligence, was really trying to avoid getting in any fights. Dead people were not an ideal outcome of any encounter.

Dally

Dally came over anyway after what Chase had said.

"I'm sorry about Chase," she said, "he still doesn't get human emotions."

She glared at Chase.

"Chase, you probably insulted Daniel by what you said," she said to Chase.

Chase

Chase looked at Daniel and said, "My apologies if I insulted you."

"Oh, no, no, it's fine," Daniel said, offering this girl his hand to shake. "I'm Daniel, and you are?" This girl reminded him the most of his sister, always correcting her brothers, helping Lydia make sure they knew how to act. He smiled at the thought, a lopsided, nostalgic smirk that crinkled up one side of his nose with a breathed laugh.

Dally

"I'm Dally," she said, shaking Daniel's hand. "I helped Chase on the other Griffin Rock, the one where he was shocked to find he was human. I helped him get used to the human lifestyle." She giggled. "He's kinda like a younger brother, you guide him and correct him when he's in the wrong. I thought that, him being a poilce officer and all that, he would understand human emotions, then he told me that he was a mayor that was emotionless." Her giggles turned into full on laughter and she fell to the floor.

Chase

Chase's face was red from embarrassment.
Great he thought to himself. Now I have to explain to him about that event He covered his face with his hands.

Daniel laughed, mostly because Dally was on the floor laughing so hard. But the thing about Chase's emotions confused him. "He doesn't have emotions? Never happy, or mad, or upset, never finds anything funny?" Wow. That had to be the worst. He felt a little sorry for him.

Dally

She stopped laughing to answer him, "His personality is split, like good cop and bad cop. His good cop side has emotions and is kind while his bad cop side doesn't have emotions and only cares about enforcing the law. The bad cop side of him was mayor." Then she continued laughing.

Daniel's smile kind of froze. "Like Jekyll and Hyde?" That book had given him nightmares. Why it was still around- and, according to Barn, had been made into a movie at least once, was a mystery to him. "So one side is heartless, and the other side is friendly?"

Dally

Dally stopped laughing.

"Jekyll and Hyde?" she asked. "Who are they?" Then she answered the question, "I guess you could say that. But he's not dangerous. I'm able to snap him out of his bad c-, I mean heartless, side rather easily. That's one of the reasons I follow him around, to make sure his heartless side doesn't hurt anyone while enforcing the law. He told me that the only other person that could do what I do was Chief. I'm guessing that's why he didn't arrest his universe's Don after the 50th speeding violation."

((To not confuse you, the two sides is a theory of mine that explains why Chase would be kind to someone one minute, and the next be a law enforcing, excuse my phrasing, jerk. So it wasn't mention in Rescue bots at all, it was just my theory))
