(I deliberately underpower most of my characters or give them some sort of obvious weakness. It's more fun that way tbh.
Sure I have my deliberately, highly powerful ones (hi Lowell), but I never feel like I need a nuke to kill them, they can very well die and are well aware of it.

Like I literally dropped a direct explosion on this action man and the character walked it off unscathed outside of missing their armor which they immediately regained.

Idk what it is about modern/sci-fi settings that attract these people but they really drive me up the wall. At least fantasy characters never seem to get too strong imo, because there's always silly ways to knock them down a peg

(okay minus gods but god characters are fun tbh, just time and place. I stuck a literal time god character in one of my sci-fi groups just to balance him by him not wanting to use his power at all in fights because *insert cosmic reason here* or finding battles uninteresting and leaving)

I also have very few normal human characters, idk why.
Writing weird ones seems more fun to me.)

Lowell turned his nose up at it, briefly wondering if they could trust it.
"Your Highness, if you have no further business with us, I would prefer to get going. I wish to make fair use of the remaining evening."

" You may leave, then. If I have any further questions, expect a letter in the morning. "

(i have this really funny rp going on with sslover. its the one w/ the girl i just described, and she is so mean to the other male character it is so funny. I mean, she has a LOT of good reasons, but her general hate towards him is hilarious. like just him walking to the room shes in just ruins her entire mood)

I'm kinda sad that the Magic Won't Save the World group is kinda faltering cuz I can't harass you with the absolute buzzkill that is Scias.
Idk how he ended up being one of my mains being the angsty, hateful sarcastic trash he is, but he trashtalks and hates like 80% of the parties I try to throw him on and it's hilarious

Ngl I love writing characters that will banter everyone. It's fun to write lovable jerks and watch how many people get upset with me when I just want to see these characters finally get what's coming to them)

Lowell took the leaf, gave the Dowager a nod, and started out of the room with the others.

(im more used to writing characters that are natural born leaders. like Sera and Gemini, that one reaper princess who i friggin love. and Gallagher, the Emperor of the darkness xD)

Gallagher walked them out, closing the doors behind them.

(I seem to gravitate to the weird, vaguely edgy rogueish dudes (Gallagher's right up my alley XD), general chaotic goods, or just weird eccentrics/concepts.

Scientist, alchemist, scholar, cyborg/robot, alien/monster, and engineer characters are super fun for me. I notice I write a lot of zealots too, but not exactly sure why. Idk. I don't think I have much a preferred character type, but I do play around with a lot of darker/sillier themes.
I have a few leader types of my own, including the one my avatar is based on who is a character I adore even if she's very uh.. drunk all the time stoic and horribly withdrawn.)

(idk why but i imagine all of my characters beside Gallagher with a great sense of humor that they laugh at everything. like me xD)

" Switching it out with her regular tea shouldn't be a problem. "

(I either have really serious characters or ones that just sit in the back cracking jokes the whole adventure and screwing around. The rare in between are characters like Lowell who tell jokes with a straight face)

"I will leave this much to you then, Gallagher. You know her habits better than anyone." He handed over the the leaf to him.

(i cant tell a joke with a straight face. its just too funny)

He nodded, taking the leaf. He then turned and began walking towards the palace kitchen.

(I'm pretty good at it but I've been known to laugh at my own jokes too much too.

Like having to go back in RP history in a Discord group I was in and trying to find out details on a character I hadn't written in 2-3 years and finding a ton of comedic posts I wrote for them was a treat for me earlier especially as I had forgotten writing most of this stuff by now)

Gallagher returned to them soon after. " Its being taken to her bedroom at the moment. "
