"Jekyll and Hyde is a somewhat creepy story about a guy who figured out how to unleash his evil side. It gave me nightmares when I read it, but I was 12 then so...yeah." Daniel remembered those nightmares about Hyde poisoning people, sometimes even his own family.

Dally

"Huh," she said, "That sounds a bit like Megatron when he found out that he could handle Unicron's blood, then became a temporary villain."

Kind!Monika

Monika could relate. Her original code would want any and all males to love her and would destroy anyone in her way, at least that was what she was told by Natsuki. Thankfully, the only thing the code was doing was reading minds.

"Yes, but the thing about Jekyll and Hyde is that he actually becomes the villain, permanently. For the rest of the story. It comes to a point where he can't change back, and Hyde wins." Daniel shuddered. "I think that's a horrible fate, to become your worst nightmare and never come back." He shook his head. "Can we talk about something less dark? Because that book is just so..." He trailed off, making a face of mild disgust.

Dally

"Oh, okay. Uh... who's your favorite person in this room?" she asked.

"Uh..." Daniel was clearly taken aback by this sudden shift. "Um, would it be fair to say me? I don't really know anyone else here very well, and I mean, you're all nice people, but I've been here for maybe an hour and I've met five people. That's like twelve minutes with each person. I just barely met you guys, and now you ask me to pick favorites?" His eyebrows were high up on his forehead and he looked uncertain. "Like I said, I'd just play it safe and say me, but that sounds really bad." He looked at her, and hoped for confirmation. "You know?"

Dally

"I understand," she said, "You don't want to sound arrogant, like Heatwave sounds sometimes." She giggled softly, then continued, "I'm wondering how we get out of here, even if it is temporary."

Theda

She looked at Daniel, then at Dally.

Easy there, she thought to herself. They wouldn't know, they wouldn't know. She could feel every vibration of sound, hear every word. She calmed herself down, and went back to normal.

Kind!Monika

Monika walked up to Theda and asked, "Are you okay?"

Theda softly replied, "Yes, why?"

"Well, your left eye-"

Monika didn't even finish her statement before she was brought to the ground.

"Say nothing else of my eyes if you want to live. Is that clear?" Theda growled, her voice sounding robotic and definitely not human.

Chase

He noticed the disturbance and ran towards it.

"Stop in the name of the-" he yelled, then tripped on his own feet, falling to the floor.

"WOAH!" he cried, before hitting the floor.

Dally

"CHASE!" Dally ran towards Chase, and kneeled besides him. "Are you okay?"

"I'm fine," he replied.

Dally looked towards Theda and Monika.

Theda

"AM I CLEAR?!" she yelled. Monika tried to wiggle out of her grip.

Daniel panicked and before he knew it, he'd readied a ball of fire and shouted, "Leave her alone!" He paused and realized exactly what he'd said, then continued. "I don't know what this is about, Theda, but I'd recommend you get off of Monika before I blast you to the fires of Hades. Stand down and we can talk it over like civilized people. And I mean stand down, Theda. I don't want to blast anything, but if I have to I will. So stand down." He paused, frozen in place, the fire tickling his hands. He glanced at Chase. "You alright?"

Chase

"I'm fine," he repeated, getting into a sitting position.

Theda

Surprisingly, she let go of Monika and asked, "What, what happened?"

Dally

Dally was royally peeved, to say the least.

"'What happened?' What happened! You nearly killed one person, nearly caused the injury of another, AND GOT TWO PEOPLE PEEVED! YOU LIAR! YOU LIAR! LIAR! LIAR!" She felt two hands on her shoulders, and Chase whispering, "Let that go, Dally,"

Dally felt tears stinging her eyes, "Liar. Liar."

Daniel tried to put his fire out, but it wouldn't go out. He concentrated on extinguishing the small ball of fire, but his concentration was interrupted by shouting. He opened his eyes to see Dally yelling loudly at Theda. The ball of fire expanded and grew quickly until it was nearly half as tall as Daniel. "Can we all just CALM DOWN!" he shouted over the din, the fireball crackling as its surface undulated with power. "Just, everyone, stop fighting. Stop yelling at people. I swear you are worse than my brothers, and I doubt any of you are related. So just calm the sands down and talk it out like civilized people! Why do we have to fight, punch, name-call and blast our way around? So just stop." He huffed, and tried to power down. But the fireball would not power down, it seemed to want to get out and burn freely. He rushed outside and let it loose toward the sky, then collapsed to his knees.

Chase

He pulled Dally. Dally was still calling "Liar" so he looked around.

Daniel was not in the room.

Dally went limp in his arms, so he laid her down on the floor, then he noticed Monika was crying.

He walked towards her, "What is wrong?"

Monika conutined crying.

Chase sighed, then went to the Outside.

He saw Daniel kneeling.

He walked next to him and sat down.

"My apologies," Chase said, although none of what happened was his fault.

Kind!Monika

Monika continued crying.

She could hear Natsuki in her mind.

Idiots Natsuki said.They're all idiots. Come back, Monika, come back to where people actually love you.

Chase

Chase felt tears roll down his cheeks, so he quickly dried them.
