*Josh*

I smile, seeming slightly reassured.
"Good because they are just up ahead" I say. Sure enough Benjar's heavy footsteps shake the ground as we approach.

(In full animal form)
-moon runs up the hill to the cliff feeling the wind through her fur- "wow this is cool" -she said in a excited feeling- -she turns her ears and eyes toward the meadow- "sweet"
-she walks down the cliff to the field-(turns into half form) -she dances in the meadow-

Blue smiles. "We can do this, we can do this." She says quietly to herself. She looks ahead and her grip on the sword tightens.

*Benjar*

I turn, smirking, and shift into normal human form. I pull a rope from my belt and lasso Scar, keeping him close and smacking him when he tries to attack. Sulking, the large tiger lays down and gazed sadly at Josh, anger burning in his amber gaze.
"I see you've brought a friend" I chuckle to Josh, who just glowers at me. I laugh a bit harder.

Blue touched the button on the sword handle and the blade ignited. "Let go of Josh's brother!" She said. She no longer looked scared but rather brave.

"I did. A tanktop isn't the most warming thing in the world, even if it's soft." I say, looking down at my favorite shirt. I got it when I was ten, as a present from Asher. It's dark blue, and has a little bit of silver thread woven through it. It used to fit me as a dress, but now i've grown up, and it covers the front and back of me, but the sides of the straps come down pretty low, and the whole thing is pretty loose, and hangs off me in a pleasing way.

He rolled his eyes, smirking. "Okay, so you did change. I take my former statement or question or whatever back. Anyway, where's this valley you were talking about? Is it nearby the place you lived before moving to the forest?"

"It's where I met Asher, before we moved here. We wanted to have a backup home just in case something happened to the forest. We had a little community going, but all the fauns left, and the centaurs went up to the mountains." I say, remembering the day one of my best friends, Bjorn, left. He was a Fjord horse centaur, and lived with his family herd.

"You seem to miss them... a lot. I know the feeling- I miss most of the hybrids in my old forest, they were killed by those humans." He seethed through his teeth, but managed to hide the pained expression. "There was a lynx hybrid, she was like a mother to me. And a few other hybrids were my best friends. Only a few managed to escape the lumberjacks- I never saw any since that day."

"We should try to make it a safe haven for us half-breeds. I might know where a tortoise who knows distraction magic. I can get him to help with putting up a shield to ward off humans. Then, we can send out a runner to go to all the other groups of halfbreeds and tell them about the haven. We could call it Halfbreed Vale, or something like that." I say, and I am rather pleased with the idea.
