He gave a bit of a wag of his tail, allowing her to continue.

He said with a bit of a chuckle.
"She treats me as a pet quite enough."

" Understandable. Don't worry. I won't say a word. "

He shut his eyes, relaxing. The petting was just making him tired at this rate. He wasn't sure of the last time he slept and was more than content to fall asleep where he was at.
"..Good. Then I will remain here as long as you may need." He said with a bit of a yawn .

She nodded. " Thank you, Lowell. "

Lowell
He fell asleep with his head rested on the bed and under Gallagher's watchful eye.

She stopped petting him once he fell asleep, letting him rest.

The next morning, The Empress received back Diane's new paternity test, much quicker than she thought. And the results were exactly as she wanted. It was confirmed by the church that Diane's real father was in fact Grand Duke Monstrell. Now, everything would go accordingly, just as she had wanted it.

Lowell
Lowell picked his head up to find the room empty. He noticed the sun shining through the palace window.
He estimated he had probably slept half a day, give or take, and the Empress was likely busy with her duties yet again as he stood up with a stretch.
He still found it amusing Gallagher hadn't decided to drag him out of the room as returned himself back to elven form and decided to actually get ready for the day instead of lazing around here.

Gallagher was awaiting his wake outside the room, figuring it'd be best to let him rest for now. The Empress had left the room hours earlier, before the sun even graced them with its bright rays.
