He smiles. "There's always work to be done at Roth's Griffin Supplies. What do you want in return for your favour?"
Brazentalon stretches his neck to sniff at one of the packs of Griffin feed, not leaving your side. He chirps, contented that it is good for eating.

"I'm just an innocent little Wyvern. What would they suspect me for?" he says, his forked tongue flicking out as he peeks round the next corner. "'Course, so long as you turn your hair back to being black again when we're finished, no one will know it's you. How did you do that by the way?"
After the rain and the hard days travelling, the dye in your hair has finally given up the ghost. Next time you'll need to find one that lasts longer if you wish to keep it for as long as possible.

"Oh... just as much as usual," he grimaces. He points at the sun that is creeping over the horizon. "We'll need to move out soon if we're to make good time. We've got a long way to go until we reach even the foothills, let alone the mountains. And at this time of year the snows will be coming in."
He rolls out a map in front of you from his pack. Pointing at the river that flows from the mountains through the Central Territories, he says: "We're here. If we follow the river north for a couple of days, we should find a Dwarven settlement. There we can find a guide to take us to the valley."
It's a lot of ground to cover before the first snows block the mountain passes. But it's definitely possible. And there's no where else for Shootingstar to go.

The Yeti seems surprised at your boldness, and hesitates for a second as you speak. It looks from its shackles to your hand gestures, beginning to understand what you're trying to say. It offers a hesitant hand forward, revealing yet another restraint. The cuff pinches the Yeti's wrist tightly, the lock old and rusted.
He smiles. "There's always work to be done at Roth's Griffin Supplies. What do you want in return for your favour?"
Brazentalon stretches his neck to sniff at one of the packs of Griffin feed, not leaving your side. He chirps, contented that it is good for eating.
"Some Griffin feed. What do I have to do?" I ask.

He leans forward, pointing down the marketplace. "Theres a blacksmith right down the bottom of the main road that way. Callus is the smith's name. Tell her that Roth sent you and she'll give you some goods that I need here in the next hour. Any later and you won't find your reward when you get back."

(Suspected that might be the case :P)
"Hair dye," Knight tries out the word. "Never heard of it before. Better find you some more while we're there."
You both arrive at the canal where the market stalls were. Now they've been packed away, and all that remains are the bare stalls and the boats bobbing in the water.
"They have to store their stuff somewhere," Knight says, narrowing his eyes. "What does that sign say?"
There appears to be something on the stall, but Knight's night vision must be better than yours because you can't read it in the darkness.
"Oh... just as much as usual," he grimaces. He points at the sun that is creeping over the horizon. "We'll need to move out soon if we're to make good time. We've got a long way to go until we reach even the foothills, let alone the mountains. And at this time of year the snows will be coming in."

It's a lot of ground to cover before the first snows block the mountain passes. But it's definitely possible. And there's no where else for Shootingstar to go.
"Okay let's get pavcked up,'' Asteria quickly takes down her tent, "Crimson can you get the others ready to go? We have to move fast if Shootingstar is going to get home before winter blizzards cover the pass.''
