"...Or what?" Daniel didn't like the way he'd trailed off. "Or Frisk killed Cody and Chara? And won the war?" Frisk was the bad guy, it seemed, and if they won, who knows what Dr. Thaddeus would go home to. Maybe something like Nazi Germany, horrors Daniel had only heard of from Barn, who'd gotten it from someone else, and read of, in books.

Topaz slid away from the voice,"I've seen that before...it's simpler but it's also supposed to be more draining than teleporting...at least in my world".Wonder!Chara nodded,"so is necromancy"

Thaddeus

"More than that," he said, "I could go home to find the whole Burns family killed. Possibly the mayor, and Frisk would rule Griffin Rock." And Frisk would get out of their way to make sure that anyone who disobeys them or doesn't like their killing of monsters would die. He couldn't say that thought. It sounded horrible, but, according to Chief Burns, he took over Griffin Rock.

But that was with advanced technology, not murder. He felt tears sting his eyes.

He quickly wiped them away, accidentally knocking off his monocle. He quickly put it back in place: in front of his eye.

He sighed.

"Just to clarify, Frisk is the villain here, right?" Daniel watched as Dr. Thaddeus replaced his monocle. "Is the monocle for aesthetic or because you only need it in the one eye?" In his opinion, glasses were much more sophisticated.

Thaddeus

"Yes, Frisk is the villain, responsible for all the monsters, in Undertale 296, to die," he said. "I need the monocle for one eye, so yes, it's needed."

Thaddeus pondered why Daniel asked that question. Shouldn't it be obvious?

"Well, I was just wondering, sometimes people wear them just because they think they make them look better. In my opinion, if you're trying for that you should wear glasses, the frameless ones are the best." Daniel shrugged. "But that's just my opinion, doesn't really matter anyway, not to say I dislike the monocle- it looks great." Daniel made a few faces, obviously arguing with himself.

"Blah, blah, blah." The upper half of Reflected!Frisk's body materialised in the air next to Topaz, grinning mockingly. "Draining? Oh yes, changing forms of matter does take quite some energy. But, you know, I'm not 'physical' that way. I have a special relationship with energy."

Thaddeus

"Well, I guess I don't know everything about this era," he said chuckling.

He, then, began muttering something about a "Vern device" and a something "of youth" and how they're both "useless" to him now.

"What's a Vern device? Is it like a cell phone?" Daniel wondered if the doctor was talking about a fountain of youth and weren't those things myths anyway? As for Vern devices, if those weren't like cell phones or scanners of some sort, then maybe he should get away.

Thaddeus

"Oh dear, I said that out loud, didn't I?" he asked, appearing nervous.

"I, well it, um... it won't hurt you, uh... it, uh...." Thaddeus didn't know how to describe the Vern device. "I, actually, lostitinUndertaleotherthanthatIwouldshowyouitbutIcan't." He collapsed to his knees.
