Just an update to what's happening with the Zolnixi.
We are still working to get these released. Atm, the builder is built and the Adult Female, Baby Female, and Baby Male's files are uploaded. We still have to do the Adult Male's files.
The reason for the process taking longer than usual is that we are actually trying to do something different with their shading and highlights. In the past, we would just upload the shading/highlights/lineart all as one image and it would just layer on top. Now, we are trying to integrate all three separately onto the colors. The effect allows for the shading/highlights to be more than just simply black and white.
There's quite a few issues that we're working on resolving regarding this, but we do hope that we can release the Zolnixi with the new format because we think they look way better. Here is a simple comparison:
The other consequence to this is that it requires uploading a lot more files because we are now uploading everything separately instead of just merged together. The Adult Female alone was 856 unique .png files inside of 245 folders lol. So... it's a rather time consuming process. =P
We are also having a different image building software installed onto our server to see if it will work better than the one we're working with at the moment.
But that's the current update and reasoning as to why they aren't released yet.

That looks amazing! Praise to whoever drew them! Cant wait for them to be realeased!

We agree completely! Lol...that is why we are trying to figure out how to get it to work correctly. Right now the issue is with the compiler we are currently using...it takes a few seconds to load compared to load instantly. So we are hoping with the new compiler being installed on our server it will load faster. :)

The new method image definitely looks so much better! And I do believe that waiting longer for better quality is a good tradeoff!

Although it looks nice, the shading on the image on the right looks too dark. Also, does that means that the Zolnixi revamp will not be released today?

Like I said, we're still working on it. We won't release it if it's not ready. But I wouldn't quite write it off just yet.
And in regards to the darkness/lightning of the shading under the new system, that's actually one of the other issues we're working on. It's hard to explain lol, but yea, that's something that's adjustable that we're trying to figure out.
The changes are entirely just on the server-end. The artwork isn't required to change at all. It's just the manipulation the server does when compiling the image. So it's all easily adjustable.
So that means that we would ultimately be able to do this for all of our other artwork as well - we'd just have to restructure their files and how they build.
