As much as I want to make the Mafia have interesting and cool features for everyone to like, while still being entertaining or worthwhile to the members, I found that I had trouble putting together the suggestions in an enticing way. >//<
(It doesn't help that I try to think about it during class time aha.)
So what I decided to do was include all of the recruitees in the decision making/brainstorming of the suggestions/features that will be implemented into the guild!
This will go one step further from the suggestion box: how I'm thinking it should go is to talk about these things in real time, preferably in a chatroom (unless you guys would prefer discussing it on the forums, but having everyone together all at once probably helps time go faster).
I have gotten a list of browser chatrooms as an alternative to chatting on Sylestia or installable programs such as Skype. You should hypothetically only need to open one tab to participate in these chatrooms.
I'd like you guys to see which chatroom works for you, and choose which one you would like to use as an "official" chatroom for the group. :) I'd also like for you guys to say what days and times (in Sylestia time) you're available, so I can establish a time when we should all meet up in a chatroom to talk about the features.

After most of us have come to a decision, I'll make a day where we can all meet up on the chat and talk about what we want.

I am likely to be available almost all the time. Sun-Sat through the times 10:00am - 11:00pm, I may be available later than that if I can.

Chatango seems like something I'd prefer.

Easy log-in setup, access still allowed with a 'temporary name,' and is that an android app I see? Hello functional chat on my tablet! (Which is otherwise buggy and extremely annoying. Once Comet Chat kept dropping lower and lower on my tablet screen, and I had to scroll up for 5 minutes just to get back to Sylestia's webpage. It was background image FOREVER. Never tried it again.) And best off it looks like it holds on to the old chat, and it gives time stamps for everything.

Chatstep and tlk.io had nothing in the chat itself. Not sure if there was supposed to be or not? But if so, it didn't hold.


Etherpad seems a bit troublesome since anyone can alter the main text. Seems like an opening for unwanted abuse, which though unlikely, can't be entirely ruled out. Especially with the hopes of future guild growth.


As for Chatzy... I got a missing room that didn't even exist. :(

I like Chatango the best, it seemed like it worked pretty well, and I didn't see any problems with mobile ( which I use often) I'm available at almost any time (except when I'm sleeping which is about 12 am ST to 10am ST) On Mondays and Fridays I help out with a garden, and won't be able to get on during the afternoon at around 1-3 my time, which is 3-5 pm ST

Honestly, they all seem good except for the fact I cannot get on the Chatstep or Chatzy chats.

All of these have some cons. I have a better idea that I did not think of before. We should use Slack. It's what I used during my internship last summer, it's very good. These other chats can't even compare. I'll message you with more information.

@Flute I can't check right now, since my phone is dead, but do any of those websites have the ability to be accessed while mobile?
