Ghostly Elegence
Astra

Beware the ghost,
Of the darkest waters,
For she is not,
Who she seems to be.

At First this exert from, the adventurer, Alcaeus' Journal was thought to be a warning of the ghosts mischievous ways. However, as recent events have shown that "the ghost/ Of the darkest waters", or Astra as we have now discovered, is truly just a wondering Kelpari who was abandoned by her parents. Although, she is rather introverted, and shy, she does not seem to be mischievous. Surprisingly, she is extremely agile and intelligent. It seems that these characteristics helped her escape the grasp of our warriors when we still thought that she was a malevolent ghost. Things have changed since then, and it is rumored that the royal family has invited Astra to join them for dinner in their palace. However, some still object to the hospitality that is being shown to this young Kelpari, and whichever path Astra chooses, it is sure to not be an easy one.

Algarum

(my original design had calico in gene two as well)

The dence kelp forest was once overflowing with life. But their was too much, the fish began to destroy the kelp. But this was magic kelp. The kelp created a monster that could lurk in the shadows and flash across the canopy, deadly fast, with a hunger for fish blood. It was a serpentine beast with equine features. They named him Algarum.
Only a week after realesing it, the forest stank of death. Bones littered the floor, and the water was filled with misty red swirls. Uneaten fish, up to a meter and a half long, were scattered carelessly, slowly being retaken by the earth. Algarum still haunted the forest, waiting, for fish to stray.

(have litteraly no idea where the story came from. "Algarum" means "kelp" in latin.)

Augmenti

Augmenti is a flowering kelpari. He is the Nature Guard, simple as that. He has a connection with plants and nature as a whole, and spends more time on land than any other kelpari. His beautiful coat reflects the nature around him. On sunny days his wings glow yellow, and cloudy days they become smokey grey. His chest glows with the same green of his meadows, and his hooves sparles with the same color of water he loves to dip them in.

Other's find him useful as a weather predictor, but they are stupid and cannot understand hi connection to nature. When something is wrong he can feel it, when there is a forest fire or a drought. He can reroute streams to flow where he wants them, and can control the level of water in the atmosphere. The flower floating above his head glows when something is wrong, and he uses his horns to help grow things.

He is a peaceful creature, he never uses violence and around him you are inclined to forget how to be mad, or how to hurt. He still adores the water, but he views it as a trap to keep kelparis blissfully ignorant and content when bad things occur on land. He loves to sit on rocks in water and use his tail to flick up water to create short rainbows. He has never found anyone worthy to be his mate, and contents himself with helping the many abandoned eggling left laying around. He puts his own special touch on them, using his tail to rest them in the water for short periods and laying them in flower patches. He is the protecter of the weak and the help of the helpless.

Edit: Whoops spelling mistakes

Deep Sea Angler

The idea for this particular design was inspired by the bio-luminescence of deep sea creatures. Th nightmare spikes in M1 represent the sharp teeth and creepiness that the majority of those types of fish have. And it goes well with the deep sea runes in G3 as it almost looks like there is glowing goop oozing from where the spikes are protruding. And finally the Betta for G2. It gives an extra luminous glow to the design that is accented well with the lighter blue.

"Go Thorgrim! We will meet in Jotun." Olaf bellowed out. Olaf, a large tree of a man that rules his own land but doesn't have the gift to speak to creatures like his frail wife. Don't get me wrong I respect him but his kind, gracious, sweet wife, Skakki is the only one who can actually understand me besides nodding my head. She pats my head with a smile and I take off below the frigid waters. Sea Monster they used to call me. Because they weren't use to having creatures exist besides themselves. They call themselves Nords. or Northmen as I've come to learn. And now I am Thorgrim, the Great companion and warrior of the chief.

Through crevices and deep sea caverns I swam. passing others of my kind and some that were not. I used to live down here permanently. i used to have a love of my own. but she was taken from me. Trolls. The Common enemy of sea creatures and Nords alike. They hunt our waters for pregnant females to make themselves an army to fight in the sea against Nord ships. Finding Free Kelpari are a rarity these days. we either fight with the Nords or the Trolls. I joined the fight when they took my beloved Eydis when she was with child. i lost two loves that day and I swore I would kill the Ice Troll Lord for Destroying my Family.

Reaching the surface, I took a moment to just relax my fins as I waited for Olaf and his crew. They were here to take down some Trolls. To have their youngling prove their worth as men.Olaf's ship rounded the cliff and I climbed up to the shore to meet. We scouted the land and soon came upon a small village. "ATTACK" Olaf roared and soon we were off. face to face with trolls and kelpari warriors bred from the stolen. It was a bloody battle but none of the northmen were lost. They collected teeth and soon we were on our way home. The next quest will be for me. For my revenge.

Asta, the Dream Keeper

(backstory is slightly rushed, quite a lot of work to do >.<)

The night was still; not a single soul was stirring beneath the starless night. Asta flew down from among the stars and her hooves gently touched the moon kissed clouds. She looked down to the town below, and to her delight, she saw colourful lights and music and dancing, people cheering and having fun. Asta smiled to herself, as she watched the celebrations carry on for hours and hours, deep into the night.

Of course, the celebration was to commemorate the first time that she, Asta the Dream Keeper, had arrived at their town to bring peace and rest their troubled minds in times of need, and being there as a figure of guidance and control in the worst of despair.

This is Rioga. She loves to explore the deeper waters. She has often found some very lovely trinkets that she has kept over the years. She has explored the deeper waters so much that she has taken on many of those colors herself and she has adapted to be able to find her way around and not get hurt too easily. She enjoys the exploration so much that she does not care to realize that the most agile and hardy can find it difficult to explore where she does.
