My pretty little Nephini was inspired by all the flowers that I love to grow and take care of during the summer. I just love the pinks, yellows and green of this nephini, so much like the beautiful Gladiolus this year!

To me, summer means riding horses and the beach. What better way to celebrate than to ride hoses ON the beach?! Thus, I present Wave Rider Kelpari.

This is my Flame Angelfish Ryori! A Flame Angelfish is a tropical fish that is found in the Pacific Ocean, particularly in the reefs of Oceania, Cook Islands, and, occasionally, the Hawaiian Islands.

The above is a picture of the Flame Angelfish in its natural habitat. I must also add that I have a preference for the male Ryori, in case that wasn't clear.
Thank you for viewing!

Inspired by the feeling of when you're the only person on a beach in summer, and the only thing you can see is the waves on the sand and the sun in the sea.

My Sylesti is obviously inspired by thunderstorms, which are frequent in summer where I live. A creature with the power of thunderstorms would be dangerous but awe-inspiring.

Edit: I know you can only post one, but I posted right before the revamp, so I wanted to update my Sylesti. Hopefully it still counts.

Gulfstream Sunset Bulbori
Last Breath of Summer

There's nothing like watching the sun set in my home city along the Gulf Coast of Texas. When the fading light turns everything to a copper hue and the sky and shadows deepen to plum, the sun hangs on the horizon like the world's richest egg yolk. The clouds put on a show in white, gold, pink, and finally purple as the light sinks away into the west. I tried to capture the interplay of the colors with every trait and color I chose for this Bulbori.

I'm still desperate for my Ligh from last year, i hope it's okay if i repost? She still fits the summer theme.

Larimar
She's inspired by and named after the Larimar stone, which resembles ocean waves and is found in the Dominican Republic. It's one of my favorite rocks, an absolutely stunning example of beauty of nature. It's like an entire beach in rock form, and of course beaches are such a symbol of summer.

Here is my entry: The Cosmic Force Ny'vene

Her name: Andromeda Starforge

I modeled her after a number of things: star gazing, nebulas, and the northern lights, which I saw this summer about a week and a half ago. These are all things I enjoy doing, and during the summer the nights are still warm so it is fun to do then~
