My Ryori is based on a fall Deer with the glow of the morning sun coming through the colored leaves of an autumn forest. I would have posted a picture of that but not sure if that is also against the only one picture rule.

My Ryori is based on the concept of a demon. He is beautiful, but also deadly. He will seduce and trick his followers into worshiping him so that they will willingly sacrifice their souls to him.

Inspiration is the colors of Autumn and the different Halloween costumes that everyone puts on.

I call her Autumn Mountain Majesty. My inspiration comes from my childhood. I grew up in mountains of Colorado. I remember the deep hues of purple that the mountains would turn towards the end of the day and so that is why I chose the dark color for her, the nebula is the color of changing leaves. I remember seeing the change go across the mountain sides and it was never solid, well not at the start, it would hang like jewels along the mountain side and that is why I chose the jewels for her. Finally the color of her spirit is in memory of the autumn fog that would sometimes be early in the morning. She is beautiful and I am really pleased with how she came out. Amazing how a memory can be turned into something like this. :)

As the leaves fall, the plant spirit weakens... its based off the weakening plant spirit as the plants all wilt.

Halloween Ghoul Ryori

I chose this design because Halloween is in October. This shade of purple is one that I associate strongly with the holiday. It also works as stylized rotting flesh. The leaf veins pattern looks like muscles under the missing skin.

My inspiration comes from a cold autumn night at a park leaves and lights, the cold crisp autumn air.

Inspiration: This is a Rose Spirit. She is trying to stay strong for as the flowers wilt, her roses will do so also. She keeps her head up even though her power was slowly disappearing.
