You very carefully check your items, making sure nothing had been touched. To your relief, everything was exactly as you had left it. You were not missing anything, and nothing was added. It was as if Kiothar had never been there. What do you wish to do?

After checking his items and finding no trace of Kiothar, Maldok stretches, clasps his belt around his waist and carefully places his beaded headdress on his golden head. His lilac eyes search the cave for any trace of the she-elf and finds none. Dumbfounded, he stands in the centre of the dark room and

while he contemplates whether or not Kiothar was real at all... or if he was so tired he imagined it all.

Naida happily prances to the lake.Getting there quite fast,she plops down on a rock close to the waters edge."Phew,now would be a nice time for a snack!" she says as she greedily reaches into her bag;pulling out a weirdly colored bag of...chips possibly?"Yum my favorite,sardine chips!",she says as she shoves handfuls into her mouth.While Naida is eating,she notices a bubble float up from the pond.The cloud above her head shapes itself into a question mark,"Hmm what is that?".

- I have an idea. I can go speak to a patrol of Elves and distract them while you escape.
When you leave the forest, you should run in the direction of the human town. Don't enter it, but go as close to it as is it possible to go without encountering any of its inhabitants. Even if I don't know the Elves from this tribe, I don't think they would want to take the risk of catching the Captain's Wiles... If they think you went to take shelter inside a town touched by the disease, they will renounce to chase you. They will think you may die from the disease anyway.

You wait for what seems close to an eternity, and just as you start to think that maybe she wasn't real, you hear a brief stutter in the waterfall's roar and Kiothar enters the cave, carrying a rather large bag on her back. "Sorry," she apologized. "I was just gathering food. Figured you might be hungry."
