It was a hollowed outcroft, barely giving enough shelter from the snow but still from the wind. The area outside had become pure grey by now and you couldn't see past your own hands. You were shaking and shivering until suddenly, it just stopped. You didn't feel cold anymore, but you didn't feel arm either.

I freeze in my movements, barely turning my head to look around me. Was I going... numb? Was I getting hypothermia? I attempt to curl up into a ball, trying to conserve body heat. No, I don't want to die now. I must get revenge, and then I can die. I mustn't die now, I repeat to myself in my head.

Her tail lay flat and Pan shook her head, "N-Nothing" she looked to the side, embarrassment coming off of her in waves. They were lighting up the area, but it'd got seemingly darker since one of them at died.



Katana flicked her ears and looked out to the fireflies on the center of the Ice " Oi! do you guys know a way out of here?" she asked her brightly colored fur glimmering against the ice a bit

You could tell because of the vibrations or something. The fur did the same amount as you clothes as you sat there shivering. A dense grey fog overcame you and you felt the cold take you over, you were forced to black out as your head became pounding and you got dizzier and dizzier

You couldn't feel any heat or cold, you just lay there, you didn't even have the energy to shake. Your eyelids grew heavy from the snow until you blacked out, letting out a final shiver.

They didn't reply. As you looked back, the dead firefly had turned into a boy. A young boy. His eyes were closed and blood coming out of his eyes, nose and mouth, seeping onto the ice.
