Just another Ryori based off the beauty of the clear fall sky. Best time for stargazing, and best time to see the milky way.

Well they say that on Halloween the spirits come out more since the gateway is weak on Halloween night and you are able to see them or receive messages from them. So mine is based off of spirit messengers.
Shows shock runes, fox fire, and ethereal headdress

This is to represent fall. The dark base color of the pet is to represent the nearing darkness of Winter.

Searching through the designs, I noticed a conspicuous lack of the purple/orange/green combination that I associate with Halloween. Even with the bright colors, he still looks ready to go out and prank the whole neighborhood.

Decided to make a ghost ryori, since that's what they remind me of.
Shows shock runes, ghostly wraps and fox fire.

To me, Fall most represents change so I tried to create a ryori to illustrate that idea. Where I live there are some trees that finish shedding their leaves pretty early. During the fall, mornings start losing that brightness that we had during the summer. The sky becomes gray and cloudy, and the surrounding area grows foggy. Seeing the foggy silhouettes of those trees as I go to work or class is the biggest visual cue to me that "Fall is here" and throughout the season many, many more trees will follow this change and begin to look like this.

Nothing says fall to me more that a warm campfire on a crisp night. This guy is my tribute to all those dry leaves that ended up fueling more than one fire this season.
He shows fire fox, shock runes, and kitsune.

I based this off of a Lulav, one of the few offerings from the bible that can be done without the temple standing. It consists of palm, willow, and myrtle branches, palm fronds woven to hold the piece together, and a fruit known as an Etrog - similar to a lemon, but almost entirely rind - held up against it while you wave it. The offering is done in the morning during the fall festival of Sukkot.
The male version fits the placement of the palm branch a little better with how his fog sticks back, but the female gets the woven palms a little more nicely.
