You find the room easily enough, a lady was writing the name Professor Asteria on the board. Without looking behind her, she said, "Good afternoon, Aerilyn, you're here early."

Aerilyn's eyebrow raise in surprise, "Yes professor, I just wanted to come early to introduce my self, but it seems you already know who I am, how did you know it was me?"

The bell rang and the door automatically opened, you went in as other students rushed through the halls to their classes. When you came in, you saw that the room was surrounded by cages holding animals, from mice to lions. There were no desks. Aaron was standing next to a sabertoothed tiger that was not in a cage. She smiled. "Simple scrying spell, you may learn it later in the year if you're talented enough. Is there anything you would like to ask me? "

She looked anxious and stood a bit away, near the mice as she found them kinder. She liked animals others may not, finding them sweet. She bit her lip as she waited to be told if they had to tame, or hurt, these animals. She hoped neither.

"Welcome," said a voice. You saw a man coming out of a back room as the classroom started to fill up with students. "Your will no doubt face many challenges this year, but your first is to make an ally." he gestured at the cages.

She smiled. "Simple scrying spell, you may learn it later in the year if you're talented enough. Is there anything you would like to ask me? "

"That's so cool! I really just wanted to tell you that I'm super excited about this class, and ask what books I could read to maybe study ahead?"

"Stand in a line and introduce yourselves to everyone. It will not be you who chooses the animals, they will choose you. If you were here last year, you already have one, but introduce yourselves to the new students anyway. " At least that explained why Aaron was letting the tiger.
