(I do the exact same, it's no problem ^.^)

Understanding shines in the Pegasus' eyes, but it still doesn't approach you. Instead, it moves over to the cart driver's seat, where it tosses over a scroll from a storage compartment. It rolls to a stop by your feet while the foal watches you.

I read the scroll.

The scroll reads:

Verambrant,

Your last letter to us made us think twice about your use to the Bloodthorn Clan. You asked us if there was anything you could do to pay off your debts and keep your life. Well here is your next and last assignment - if it is any better than the last few you failed so miserably, then see your debts paid and your pathetic life ignored by Bloodthorn clansmen.

It goes on to list locations. people and Familiar species that were to be picked up and transported to the Elvenor black market. This is definitely a larger scale Familiar trade operation than you had thought.

Evidently the Dwarf wasn't so evil at all. Just foolish to anger the 'Bloodthorn Clan'. Unfortunately, it isn't hard to assume that you have angered them as well by stopping their foul trade.

The good news is that you can use the information on the scrolls to get these young Wild creatures back to their parents.

You look back to where the Pegasus was and see that it has disappeared. You can only assume that it will come back to you later if it had wanted you to help it find its parents.

You look down at the Hellhound again. It barks at you, as if expecting you to do something.

I look at the hellhound, "I'll help you as well if you want." I extend a hand toward it like a newcomer would to a dog.

The Hellhound shakes its head and licks your hand again. An ancient feeling that you can't describe creeps through your body and makes you realise that it wants to become your Familiar.

Do you accept?

I accept the hellhound as my familiar as I pet it, "Now do you have a name or do you want me to name you?"

The innkeeper puts down the mug. "What'll it be? I've got some stew brewing if you want some. Best you'll get this side of Elvenor."
