Defiance snickered, snatching the poorly aimed stone out of the air.
"Aye. They probably thought a flock of seagulls was flying overhead and dumping their loads on the deck."
She handed the small stone to Falkan. The monkey examined it before screeching and throwing it back at Tracey. It sank beneath the water with a quiet ploink.
Defiance laughed softly, and ran a finger over Falkan's head lovingly. I'd ddo the same," she said. "It probably stank like little fishies."
Returning her attention to Tracey, she called, "I'd be scared of being hit if ye was aimin' for the person next to me."
Then she turned and stalked back across the deck to where the Frenchwoman was standing like a person worthy of the title Pirate.

Tracey aimed another sotne at Amelie this time. "I wouldn't advise arguing or tauntin with me." Twang-another stone, narrowly missing her. "One more comment and i hit the part that hurts most."

Wow, Espen, that's better than anything I could do. I'd love if you could draw Defiance, and maybe Falkan too if possible? He likes sitting on her shoulder lol.
Amelie saw the woman approach her. She shifted into a defensive stance, but easy enough to maneuver out of. She mockingly bowed keeping direct eye contact with he woman and grinned. "Amelie DeLacour, assassin and renowned french fugitive at your service." She twisted her rapiers and straightened back up into her stance.
Maxine gave a nod of approval to the woman whom acted like she would make a fine pirate yet but decided that she should take over dealing with the woman whom was having a bit of trouble understanding. Putting on her coldest, most barron expression she went over to Tracey, " Look lassy, I may be a bit understandin' o'course but I would say yer acting much immature. We don't play here.. This ain't a game of make believe. If ya know what's good for ya, ye should learn yer place quickly. Ya ain't seen what happens on this 'ere ship and I doubt you'd last half the day with the work it takes to keep this ship runnin', we don't need some soft mouth to feed so I can have to drag ye' along and waste our meals on someone who ain't gonna be helpin' nor learnin'. Either ya be humble 'bout this and swalla' yer pride and show yer really able to learn. Or, ye can jump right back into the water below. I don't need to send another person to the depths. "
( I am trying to make her more tough buut I am having trouble.. 99% of the time I play a softer character. Also, yes I can do defiance just fine but Falkin may be a challange for me. )
Defiance returned the mock bow. She already liked Amelie, but it wouldn't do to let her guard down.
"Defiance Peregryn, Quartermaster of the Night's Revenge and wanted pirate at yours."
With an exaggerated flourish, she presented the borrowed pistol to Amelie.
As casually as one discussing the weather, she asked, "So, what's the price on yer head? A girl like you has got to be worth somethin' good. I'm worth 600 shillings myself, apparently."
(which was a good deal of money back them. Nothing outrageous but enough for people to keep an eye out for her.)

Ok a lot happened, or at least a descent bit. Ill try to jump in casually enough. And art sounds great of our characters! I dont really have anything particularly for Pigwidgeon))
Circe Karsinda | sailor | deck? Where ever all the new recruits r|
Circes rich amber eyes glittered dangerously at the thought of being a frilly adventure seeker. She had never in her life been such, and to say so was a sort insult to her dark painfully past.
She watched the action of the girls trying to prove themselves, standing tall, her expression still the entire time. She didnt feel the need to so herself, she was a woman and she could work hard. In a real battle, that was where she could prove herself if anyone needed. The French girl though, she had to admit she had some guts, and might be a worthy opponent with those blades.
Wha if I have no pride to gain and mean to gain none? She spoke softly but her voice stern, her blazing eyes on Maxine.

Eh, it's fine if you can't do Falkan. I'm really just basing him off Barbossa's monkey Jack from Pirates of the Caribbean.

Weeeeelllll... Defiance just dissed and dismissed pretty much all the 'recruits', who technically weren't allowed on the Night, just on the dock she was moored too.
