Misha looked out the window to see the little creature watching as they left before scurrying into the bushes by the sidewalk, "... We can always look for it tommorow if need be, but it's a bit late now to worry about some uncooperative creature that's species were still unsure about." Misha looked upset about loosing the creature but it was clear she didn't want to bother you any more than she already does.

His eyes misted over as he began muttering nonsense, he was clearly no longer involved in the conversation.
A loud bang sounded from the classroom below, causing all of you to jump, Mindy ducked down and peeked in through the broken window. Two teachers along with a whole police squad burst in through the door, they scoured the classroom for you.

I nodded. "It's probably a mouse that crossbred with a rat." I told her. "It's not uncooperative it's just scared. I'll bring some peanut butter tomorrow."

"uh... time to run!" she said, turning into a snow leopard and pretending to be running very far away, when she had only hidden in-between the trees

You enter the dark house, you hear noises coming from somewhere down the hall, but that's not normal since no one else lives there. The noise was coming from what was meant to be the guest room.

The bus arrived at Misha's house first since hers was much closer than yours, "Do you wanna sleep over? There's a pretty low chance of your parents being home so...?" she looked at you questioningly.

Mindy stared after you as you left. Levi shifted into a bird then rested on the broken window to watch them. Then suddenly without a word he fluttered out of sight of the window and shifter into the snake with wings once more, picked up Mindy, and flew into the trees. He looked panicked as he flew and Mindy looked concerned.

I take off my backpack but continue holding it by a strap, as it was full of heavy, hardcover textbooks, then quietly creep towards the sound.

I shook my head. "You're busy and I don't wanna intrude. Besides I have no clothes here and what would your parents think?" I asked her. I knew there was a low chance of them being home because they never were home. 'Maybe it's for the best they aren't.' I thought.

i turned into a small mouse and followed them
