I wish it was stress
Just actual chronic nerve pain issues and arm/hand pain
Half my face has been numb for the last 5 days, not serious enough for the ER but also the meds meant to treat it also do nothing.. Very annoying waiting another week to talk to my doc, heh.
I actually haven't been writing too much outside of roleplay lately (no surprises there..)
though I have been seriously considering picking back up my sci-fi universe as a novel again
Considering it died. As a roleplay. Again. After 2 years of going. And we didn't even get to finish it out properly again. Smh..
I cry.

I have like 100 different vague concepts I'm trying to stuff together into one universe and I'm not sure what to put where and how this happened or what on earth this concept logically has to do with that concept but they sound cool together but my brain is like nooo they have to make logical sense or else I'll torture you when you're trying to get something done
I feel like I'm trying to do one of those super intricate connect the dots puzzles but without numbers, and on a dodecahedron

Idk the rp was just a bunch of random things that happened and made into a plot
Basically the whole universe can be summed up into "united space organization not so united after all, space peace ruined once again"
If I was going to turn it into a novel, the universe is more than flexible enough to do that, it's just a matter of finding one section of it to focus on because it is vast and runs the risk of seeming like a generic space exploration/trek type settings seen outside of focal plot points in its very lengthy history at this point.
I've always felt the universe would be best as a video game due to the medium being more interactive and the universe itself wanting that level of depth in general.
Putting a novel together for this universe basically feels the same way for me, I can't do the depth I want for it without running the risk of going full-on Tolkien about it.
Also yeah I generally try to sleep these kinds of things off, but unfortunately I'm being required to be moral support for people presently and I should be working on art and I want to aaa
