The ability to sell catalysts for sun tokens would be nice too.

I'm not trying to argue or shame anyone. I have no opinion on auto-progression or next year's changes.
I'm pointing out that no one is entitled to anything from the festival. It is no one's responsibility but their own to work with the time and resources they have. "The RNG" means some people will get what they want, and some won't. Expecting random chance to result in a sure bet is unreasonable.
Also, wishing you had more time is one thing, and pestering the game developer to fix something that isn't broken is something else. The fest ending on time is not a bug that needs to be worked out.
In response to the comments about natural disasters, I feel for those affected...but I'd like to think that their video game progress would be low on their list of priorities when facing hardship and uncertainty of that magnitude. Yes, video games are great for destressing. But that's a different topic.
I understand this game is still technically "beta phase", and Krin relies heavily on playtesting and crowdsourcing, but if you look at other games with seasonal festivals you will find that hard start/end dates are the rule. Neopets and World of Warcraft don't extend their holidays because of natural disasters, civil unrest, or anything else. No one is given a longer festival just because they didn't quite get enough done and aren't satisfied.
In any other game one would get told some variation of, "Tough luck."

All Ill say is this: games like this are meant to be fun, enjoyable, serve as an escape, and yes, function as a way to de-stress, not be a reflection of the real world. If they do start slanting a bit too much in that direction, people will be turned off, and maybe stop playing altogether. Hence the decisions like extending the festival by a couple of days or so that you seem to dislike.

Hi Krin, I was just wondering if you had made a decision about whether or not to autocomplete any sculptures? (My Puffadore ended up at 92%)

I went ahead and have ran the auto-harvesting script. In total, the majority of the ~750 remaining Sculptures were auto harvested for players. These were the conditions:
-All Sculptures within 1 Growth point of Completion
-All Majestic Sculptures at or over 50% Growth
-Highest incomplete Sculpture at or above 50% Growth (Max Limit of 1 per Player)
Given all of the circumstances, I felt this was all around fair while still retaining the integrity of the feature and the hard work many players put forth for the duration of the Festival.
I already implemented a few changes within the last week or so to make things easier moving forward. As always, I will continue to look for additional improvements both to Sand Sculpting specifically, but also the other Festival's growing features.
I appreciate everyone's feedback regarding the systems and am trying to do the best I can to address specific concerns without making the feature just simply super easy mode and watering down the value of the resulting pets.

What is a growth point? The final sculpting agent?
