"yes, we understand the wolf. she used to be a person. don't ask questions i don't know the answers" i tell him, taking the drink from the blond mans hand. "the bees don't like you, because they don't know you" the blond explains, giving me a tired look "therefore they feel the need to protect me. they don't seem to grasp the concept of me being able to defend myself because i don't have a stinger"

"quick question, are any of you allergic to bees?" he asks, gently petting one of the bees by the pool of energy drink with one of his fingers. "thought you hated bees?" i ask, shaking my head. "it's a love hate relationship" he clarifies, letting the bee climb onto his hand for a rest.

"i'm dorcha" i extend my hand, and he carefully shakes it, making sure he doesn't squich any of the bees climbing on him. "jack" he introduces himself. he waves off the bees, who buzz off out the open window towards a nearby clump of bees on a tree.
