Daniel laughed. "Embarrassed much?" He stopped after a moment. "It happens to the best of us." He barely managed to hold the laughter in, his face working furiously in an attempt to keep his mouth shut.

Thaddeus

"Uh..." He didn't know how to respond to that.

Thaddeus guessed that Daniel would've been insanely jealous of him, or fear him if he told Daniel about the Vern device. So, no, the him losing it in Undertale wasn't a lie. He just didn't want to be feared or defeated by Daniel.

That'd be embarrassing.

Daniel regained control of himself after a moment. "Sorry," he said, clearing his throat. "I shouldn't have laughed at you. That was kind of rude. Sorry." Clapping his hands together, he asked, "So, how long have you been here? Longer than me or less time than me? I got here maybe three, four hours ago, I think."

Thaddeus

"It's quite alright." he said. "And I believe that I have been here for less time than you have."

(gtg, got to watch reruns of Good Eats soon lol. I just really like watching Alton Brown and his funny gimmicks. And sometimes the pther characters, like Itchy and Twitchy.)

Daniel nodded. He stretched and yawned. "What time is it?" He pulled up one sleeve and narrowed his eyes at the watch. "That can't be right- the sun's still up!" He looked at Dr. Thaddeus. "It says it's three in the morning. Which explains why I'm tired, but that can't be the correct time." He twisted his arm around so Thaddeus could see.

Thaddeus

"The sun might always be up in this universe, or at least this planet," he answered. Thaddeus had been tired for a long time now, and although magic can substitute sleep, he knew he must be putting some strain on his body. In fact, the last time Thaddeus remembered getting some sleep was the night before he escaped Undertale into this world.

Added to the fact that a reset {death of determined individual reset, he wished Undertale 296 hadn't gotten another Frisk} was exactly two nights without sleep for him {And there was at least 50 resets before he escaped Frisk #2 trying to kill him, and that universe}, he was definitely putting strain on his body.

"We'd best get some sleep ourselves," he said to both Chase and Daniel. "Without sleep, our bodies can't.... Never mind."

Chase and Thaddeus walked into the Hub to get some sleep.

((I'm assuming Dally is sleeping and Theda is in recharge. Out of the game, none of Kind! Doki Doki characters need sleep, so Monika's fine))

Daniel yawned again and slapped his face a few times. "Come on, Barton, wake up, no sleeping outside. The bugs'd eat you alive." He walked back inside the Hub, blinking to keep his eyes open.

Kind!Monika

"Hi Daniel, how are you?" she asked, not reading his mind. She was finally not reading people's minds, at least 25% of the time.

"Ridiculously tired, yourself?" Daniel leaned against the wall, arms crossed. He let his head lean back against the wall and closed his eyes, but opened them when he felt himself start falling over.

Kind!Monika

"Never better," she said, then giggled when Daniel nearly fell over. "You know, you can sleep in the bean bag chairs. Not the most comfy, but it would do."
