"How did you get in here?" she asks, not hostile but not friendly either. She beckons to Bramdur, and when he limps toward her she grabs him and takes a step back, confusion in her eyes. "What did you do to him?"
Three of the others come cautiously over, standing protectively by the woman's side. The last one sticks his head out of the window, as if to see if there's anyone else out there about to come in.

Knight has already leapt into an empty cart and furiously beckons you over. His wings over his head, in the dim light he simply looks like goods with a cover over them.

Noticing you, she stops what she is doing and sighs.
"Him again," she says, jerking her head towards a closed crate waiting against a wall. "That's the stuff you're looking for. Make sure you don't do your back in."
The crate is heavy as if it is filled with lumps of metal. You can just manage to lift it, but getting back up that hill is going to be hard.

"Uh, he fell off the roof and I guess it was kinda my fault because I was waving at him.... also my Griffin's up there if you were wondering but I left my weapons on the roof."
(On your profile, there's a section under Crimson's picture that says 'Stage: Pup (4/12)'. That's 4 out of 12 in-game days. When the day is over that'll be 5. I tried to keep it realistic but not so long it'd be a real life year or something, but it really depends on if time is passing quickly or not.)
Crimson sniffs, leaning into your hand. "I never saw my first winter, but everyone always said they were cold and merciless. We hold fire within us, but still they said it was cold."
Shootingstar smiles a little but shakes his head, curling his feathery wings around himself to show he can keep himself warm. He was born in the mountains, too, so should be fine.
(Okay thank you)
"They are brutally cold Crimson especially in the mountians," Asteria smiles at Shootingstar, "Okay Shootingstar I get the point."

"Hm...This is gonna be difficult." I say and sigh. I set down the crate and empty my travel pack. I then try to open the crate and put in the maximum amount of metal lumps/crate's contents the pack could hold. I put my stuff into the crate and any remaining items on top of it (if the idea works, food on top), hoping Roth wouldn't complain about that. I lift the crate again and ask Brazentalon if he could carry the pack for me. I then complain in my head about this task and its time limit.
(I don't even know if the crate can be opened, and this idea is more complicated than needed.)

(I can lighten the pings a little bit if you like)
The sounds of the guards patrolling stop for a second before one of them sneezes and curses. "I hate Chillsky patrols."
The other one snorts. "But when you need the money, you need the money."
"Yeah, yeah. I hear you, but all I'm thinking is my feet will be frozen off by the time we're finished..."
The discussion trails off as they move away round the building again. Knight hops out of the cart, double checking that they've moved on.
"We'd better find the building we're looking for and get going," he says, looking at how close the moon is falling to the horizon.

"Oh," the woman narrows her eyes for a second at Bramdur, raising a brow at him. He solemnly nods. The other dwarves seem less defensive now, gratitude in their eyes.
"Well, he's always getting up to mischief and we always tell him not to. Don't go blaming yourself for something that would have happened eventually anyway," another of the dwarves said, a grimace on his face. "Now he'll have learned his lesson but you were there to help."
"A griffin, you say? Here, we can't let you go off without some kind of payment for saving our boy," the woman cuts in. "Bring him in - you can leave your stuff in the small storeroom you came in from. You must be hungry after all the heroics you must have gone through." She grins, taking Bramdur away to have a look at his ankle.

Crimson nods, yawning soon after. "Imma go sleep now..." she rests her head on your lap, closing her eyes.
Shootingstar looks to the north once more, a little sigh escaping him, before trotting away into your tent. Emberpaw trails after him.
