Guess what time it is! Cactus's very oddly timed check-in time!

I'd like to start this off by saying I hope everyone is in good health and is safe wherever they might be.

I have left my house three times in the past 72 hours, once to go buy candy because I have a major sweet tooth, and once to go visit my friend's house to fill my flat basketball. Do I play basketball you might ask, no. No, I do not. But! I have a hoop in my driveway and I've been having pretty nice weather despite it snowing yesterday morning.

I have tons of homework I've been avoiding, mostly out of no motivation to do it. It isn't that the topics are boring, they're all review mostly, I just have barely made it downstairs for most of these 72 hours.

Today I actually went downstairs and hung out with my family for a while. I went on a walk with my sister and my two dogs, my cat Sunny followed us halfway down my street before going off to do whatever barn cats do. We had fun I guess, it was odd to wear shorts in March but oh well. Then when I got home I made muffins because I absolutely adore muffins. After that I was allowed to make dinner and it was lowkey good but like I don't know if box mac and cheese counts as a real dinner.

I've been craving attention from my friends but I don't want to facetime them so I'm stuck with my dog Charlie. Not that I'm complaining, he's quite comfy as a pillow and he tolerates it well enough.

I've also ha this odd obsession with looking at classic book covers and researching Renaissance artists. I was unpleasantly surprised when I learned Pablo Picasso died in 1973 and not anytime near the Renaissance? It was a shock for some reason

I am certain that you write 5 times better than me, and I shall not be persuaded to think otherwise.
I never understood how to separate stuff into paragraphs when writing a book
You actually organize your google drive?? I was supposed to, but.. eh.. too lazy xD
I have turned on ze comments
The only thing that's keeping me from spending it all is that I want to do the fundle for spring fest and I have no idea how much it's going to cost lol

Hm mines pretty short, not much to say, but everybodies doing one of these so--

Poof, my check in!

I've had nonstop crippling migraines the last two days, I haven't been able to update my coronavirus thread (which i'm feeling guilty about, because I'm not sure when I will tbh), and life is being... stressful right now >.>

Thats about it.

Nah, mine is just all fancy and keeps getting off-topic as I get new ideas. Yours actually leaves an impact, but is clear and straightforward.

I can help you with paragraphing on your story if you want.

You probably know all the basic rules, so here's what I go by
- Someone new says something, or the sentence right before it
"Bla, bla," said Bob.
Flob coughed. "Bla, bla."

- After someone says something and it goes back to non-dialogue (I'm not sure about this one, but it's what I usually do.)
"Bla, bla," said Bob.
The chair exploded as the flying pig crashed into the house.

- When time or location changes.
Bob sighed as he stood at the stove and began to cook, thinking about what he was going to do about the flying pig.
Ten minutes later, the thing he was cooking was finally done cooking.

- When a new topic comes up.
Bob finished taping his chair back together and sat back with a sigh.
Flob stuck his head into the room and gestured for him to catch the pig.

- If the dialogue is getting really long.
I don't really want to write an example for this, but separate it as you would non-dialogue: If they're talking about a different scene, or a new topic.

- Dramatic effect:
Bob caught the pig and was now having a conversation with it, feeling considerably more relaxed.
And then the chair exploded.

Hope it helps in the future!

~~~
It was driving me insane for awhile, so one day I was just like whatever I'm going to fix this now or never
Thanks! I suggested some paragraphing for you.
Ooooh yeah, so do I. I've never done the fundle.
Y'all wanna know what I did today?
So, some DJ's are hosting virtual dance parties on Facebook Live because of the virus whose name I won't mention. Got in on one of those and now I finally understand those plague songs...
Then I blatantly ignored the CDC and my seasonal allergies and went to the botanical gardens :'D I think it was fine though. There weren't a ton of people there and the place is like, 175 acres of open air.
There was a teeter-totter there that my sister insisted I go on with her. It was probably funny to watch.... did you know today was National Awkward Moments Day??
I saw a new bird, too. It was a pied-billed gerbe, so that was nice.
In related news, the aquarium's closed, which means I probably won't be able to see the coming stingray pups any time soon...
Starting online clases for co-op tomorrow. It's nothing new for me. I just hope my mom doesn't think my history class is too strange.
Thanks for the jokes Penami! Might crack a couple in class tomorrow.
