High up on the wall there is a what looks like a thin window. No glass - it's just shuttered over from the inside. Nothing that can't be forced open or be tampered with by a little, contained fire.
It isn't big enough for Knight, but perhaps if you could get up there you would be able to slip through when the shutter was dealt with, of course.
He does. Wondering if this counts as "breaking and wntering"

(Some crazy things out there)
"Oh!" he says, looking at you. "Well, good luck with the little fella' then."
Agdan comes over to you, handing you a pouch. "You seemed to be in a hurry, so you could just take these now if you really can't stay a while."
Inside are five fruit buns. Do you accept the gift?

Yes. "Oh, fine, I'll take them," I say with a chuckle. "Where are you headed?"

(Thanks for getting it working - with five different storylines and sets of characters it can be difficult to keep track of everyone)
The window is high up and the wall has no handholds you could scale. And you haven't even gotten to the closed shutters yet.
Knight stretches his neck out to peer at the window, his snout just out of reach as he examines how you could get the shutters open.

5 fruit buns added to inventory
Knowing you've done a good deed that means so much to these people makes you more confident about what you could do in the future.
+1 charisma
"North," he says, pointing a thumb over his shoulder. "Back home. Trading season is over - it's Chillsky now. We're leaving it quite tight before the snows block the passes but we should make it back so long as we keep the horses fed, watered and moving."
"How about you? Reaching the time where travelling isn't the best idea," Grafdur says. "Especially flying. When the snows come you won't know which way you're going, let alone up or down."

(I forgot where we were going ;-;)
"We're just adventuring until the egg hatches, then we'll head back to Elvenor," I say, "But you're right, maybe we should start heading back now."

(Honestly in the same boat I was hoping you'd remember xDD)
"Well, Elvenor by cart is about..." he let's out a breath, thinking. "Four or five days? So by griffin it must be half that. You probably have a little while longer out here until the snows."
Torgdan cuts in. "We stopped by a seer in the last town we went to. He's quite famous for sound predictions. This year he said the snows would be starting around the 15th of November."
