"I have my stuff on time and you have your griffin feed. I couldn't be any happier than that," he smiles, giving you your reward for the favour.

"Thank you sir!" I say and smile back. I look at that horizon wondering how much time I had left. It was probably around morning, but I wanted to double check. I look for stalls that were selling blankets since it was now Chillsky. Even though I am planning on staying in a inn, another layer wouldn't hurt.

With enough to eat to carry on moving today, Numbat tidies the camp like he did yesterday. You can pack up your tent and be off to the dwarven settlement in no time.
Any last minute things you want to do before you get travelling?

It's only been about an hour, and judging from the sun you have a while yet before midday.
In Chillsky, many stalls are selling winter gear. You see a dwarf at a stall with everything from ice picks to woolen gloves. A pile of blankets are folded neatly in a box on display, some with colourful patterns and others that were more practical.
Brazentalon idly preens his feathers, still looking around at the marketplace with a keen eye.

You've finally made it to Thatchburg - the second largest settlement you're ever going to find in the central territories. Centaurs move by you with purpose, some in gangs and others hurrying their various ways alone. But trade still blooms here just as much as in the Adventurer's Crossroads. People exchange coins and favours as you watch.
Your path stretches out before you. How shall you begin?

I want to be able to ask Numbat to show me how to set snares.

(My remaining weight capacity is 10 now, I think)
I walk up to the dwarf's stall. "Hello, do you need a favor? I need some blankets in preparation of Chillsky."

You soon have a pile of all the bits of metal. The yeti even managed to get one of them off itself by watching you. So perhaps yeti were a bit slow at first, but through observation can pick up things.
Now it rubs at the raw spots where the cuffs used to stay, grinning happily. It watches you to see what you'll do next, evidently with no plans of its own.
If I were to head up to the colder area would I have to get a winter coat or something? Just so I dont freeze? - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
Delirious slowly turns back around and glances back towards it, motioning for it to follow her. She then begins clambering back up the river to a place where she can climb up onto dry land. From there she intends to look around the area, taking note of anything interesting.
(Honestly in the same boat I was hoping you'd remember xDD)
"Well, Elvenor by cart is about..." he let's out a breath, thinking. "Four or five days? So by griffin it must be half that. You probably have a little while longer out here until the snows."
Torgdan cuts in. "We stopped by a seer in the last town we went to. He's quite famous for sound predictions. This year he said the snows would be starting around the 15th of November."
"That would be about... what date is it now?"
(Wait is this current time)
