They only thing I really changed about your design is the C3 color a little darker and more red by going form 612A2A to 4A1313 since it add more contrast since you already have quite a bit in desaturated colors. I do like that you choose the Ny'Vene since I think it fits your mood very well. Your choice of traits were also really good couldn't really find anything to change about them such as the torn wings and the eyespots. The traits you choose also help add to it since sometimes when people design sylestia their traits can be too much.

Right now I'm feeling disappointed in myself due to not being able to find a job or even figure out what I want to do yet. I choose to go more greyish blue since that's what I think when I think of disappointment.

I truly love how you vented hon. A lot of people are scared to do so, but it help to openly vent just so it doesn't fester too much on the instead and you can get that bit of piece out that at least someone out there heard you. And in this case I did. Way to go. My only issue with your design post is you don't specifically state what you like and or thought worked well with Akira's design. Could you add that in a bit so Akira knows what worked well?

Your design post is done well. It is ok that you edited, as the only time you cannot is during a Mandatory challenge which only happens at the moment every 6 months. So it is ok there. As for your critiqued piece that you did of the designer before you...I don't really seem much of a difference in the pieces. Could you by chance next to where you mentioned what slot you made redder place the hex code in question? I am not by any means saying you didn't change anything, it is just very slight and in my opinion hard to see. I am sure others might be able to see it where I cannot, that is why in this case a hex code might be helpful for those that can't.

What about the design makes it perfect specifically than just her current mood?

I will be doing an "Entries Thus Far" post hopefully later today. If not tomorrow at the latest. All the designs are lovely at this point, only a few tweeks need to be made before they are completed. And for those that haven't submitted a design yet, there is still plenty of time before deadline this coming Sunday at 5pm CST.

While I was making this, a cornucopia appeared, I clicked it and lost all my progress. I was pretty angry about it, (I still am) so thats where the anger comes in. School is more boring than watching paint dry (at least to me) and the fact that I have to study for two tests in the same weekend both makes me bored and stressed out. I've been at home sick for the past 3 weeks and now that I'm better, I can go back. But I'm scared to return because I feel like I missed too much school. I feel like I'm failing the courses I have, and as a student. I've been lacking severe motivation and inspiration and I'm tired of waking up and wanting to go back to sleep because life feels too difficult. I'm trying my best but it feels like its never enough, at least to me. I know I have people I can talk to but I don't like getting up in the mornings. School is hard, life is hard, being a functional human being is hard. (depression)
I chose a ferrikki because they're cute, and they make me feel happy inside. I made it 6vis because I'm feeling a little chaotic.

So I like the the lighter colors, I just watered down the colors a little as well as lightened them. I agree, the tri-color looks better.

You nailed the single color design, I don't know many people who can pull it off. I absolutely love the amazonian trait, it's been one of my favorite vorpa traits for a while and I'm so happy that you used it. I love how the spooky fog gives it this dark and gloomy atmosphere, it suits the emotion/mood really well. The sharp webbing gives off the appearance that its not a happy fish. At all. You used amazing traits, which reflect the mood perfectly.

The one thing that I noticed is that the eys and tail seem a little blue compared to the rest of the body, if you mute the colors a little, it will look pretty nice. It might just be my eyes. I'm basically colorblind at this point.
