Birds are pretty cool.
It is Quizbowl, but our team is called Scholar Bowl. I just looked up Quizbowl, and I guess we follow that? I don't know too much about it, but my teacher who co-hosts Scholar Bowl was pressuring me to tryout since the beginning of the year.

Spirit's not daily check-in
I'm in bed while I'm writing this
I'm still sick, found out I have the flu. I got sick when it started snowing a lot, like, the weather turns cold and now I'm in bed drinking decaff earl grey tea because I need sleep. The only problem with needing sleep is the fact that I'm a parasomniac which basically means I have trouble falling and staying asleep as well as suffer from night terrors and sleepwalking/talking. Sleeping is for the weak.
Since I'm the only one home, I have to let my dog in and out as well as wipe the snow off of her paws. She came back inside today and was white with black splotches. My dog is all black with no markings whatsoever. I called her a pup-sicle.
It was snowing really bad this morning and I had to help my mom shovel the driveway since she has some very severe arthritis in her legs. It took us about an hour but we were talking the entire time and listened to music. I thought that she'd hate my music since it's mostly punk/rock/metal etc. but it turns out that she likes Cake and the Trans-Siberian Orchestra. It was really nice spending time with her because I'm often busy with school and writing and she has a lot of stuff to do too.
My daily schedule is real whack right now so I haven't been able to join the Discord Server, I plan for it and then I fall asleep or do something. I'm going to be online almost all day today since I need to write my book, and talking with people and playing video games gives me inspiration. I'm almost done the book btw, only need to get the crew to meet back up, fight the villain and all become friends again. It should only take 2-3 more chapters soooo. I still need a title but my working one is [insert title here].
As a writer, I have this weird appreciation for famous authors but I also really envy them. Like, why couldn't I come up with Harry Potter? Why do you steal all the good ideas J.K Rowling? But also, congrats on becoming a famous author, I love your books. Turns out her favorite house is Hufflepuff and I'm a Hufflepuff so at least I have that. I thought I was a Slytherin since I'm super ambitious and cunning but I'm also incredibly loyal. I even have "I'd never stab someone in the back, the neck is more effective" on my profile. I might actually be a Slytherpuff which is a dangerous combination. Ambitious and hardworking, oh boy.
This was a long post.

I'm procrastinating on 3 big projects due on friday
i have a headache because I went on a tour of my dream school and it was hot and i didn't drink water. I was also carrying a viola and a heavy backpack...But i got a free takeaway reusable box :)
I didn't notice leaderboards were out. Heh...*quickly switches parties* I'm going for a pet this time XD
I'm bored
My head hurts since yesterday (see above)
My conductor put down the name of some random composer instead of the one we're doing and now I dont know if he's serious (the concert's next week) or if he sut mixed up his two-three orcehstras..

Sounds fun tbh, maybe its me being a Floridian, but I love snow :D (I have been to Michigan in the winter and summer tho)
I self-identify as a Hufflepuff, but the pottermore quiz gave me Gryffindor (which is radical because I'm nOT a brave person xD Only to a point)
So I suppose my joint house is a Huffledor.

So... We also have snow. (Orca, Sleep, anyone else who doesn't get snow.. Snow is white fluffy frozen water.. Wait that sounds wrong.. Oh well.. that is freezing cold and a real pain to shovel.) It snowed for the third time this month xD. 6inches of snow..
I walk to school, leave at 6:40am bc school starts at 7am >.>
So I walk to school in snow, with an arctic wind chill.. Without a coat. Or a jacket really. At least it's a long sleeved shirt? A teacher yelled at me saying that I was being unsafe going out no hat, gloves, coat ect.. It was 10 degrees Fahrenheit with a -2 degree wind..
Also.. I'll be in collage in 2 years.. It's coming too fast! xD
I'm actually not doing so well right now. I'm struggling a bit in school but I actually made high honor role??? I've had some thoughts lately that aren't good at all and may or may not include suicide... >.> But, I'm fine.
How is everyone doing with fest and their lives?
