I must ask you who sounds more like a sheep to you;

- the person blindly agreeing with whatever the authority is saying no matter how much poor judgment they are showing

or

- the person questioning information from an unreliable source with no evidence to back it up.

Krins already said no chances to any of these ones being banned. Quite a few of them were and are co fused what they did wrong besides venting frustrations on a venting thread. Would it have been better to have said it here? Or in private where they could let it out and let it be. Done and over. Onto daily life and projects and pets galore.

If this was in fact a private discord server, where someone already in the group would need to invite you, then yes, it's private group chat on a social media, with akin privacy to a journal. I'm sorry, but a negative plus a negative does not make a positive. It is basic math. More negative thinking has you spiral into more negative thinking. It is not a good feeling, trust me. I actively work with my issues daily and seek therapy, but I don't spiral as often as I used to. There is more to life than to spiral. You can get mad sure, but what happens after that? You will have a bunch of other people spirals down with you. That is gross

I appreciate that clarification - it's still entirely possible that screenshots were cropped for other reasons (even if that is one of them), but I see where you're coming from as far as providing context for one instance. It doesn't exactly follow that there would be concern over hurting some people's feelings but not other's, because we've heard from a few of the people involved that things aren't as they seem and that they've been hurt by the way they're being talked about and treated, which doesn't seem fair to me.

I do still fully believe that this has all been blown way out of proportion and shouldn't even be ours to discuss - it would have been a much better direction to see Krin and any other mods sit down with some members of this group instead of putting them on blast like this without giving them any chance to speak for themselves.

These are people who have loved and dedicated themselves to this site for years and years, why is it we've concluded that they would just turn on a dime like this or try to sabotage everything for no reason? Does that not strike anyone as odd? It seems to me there may be more going on here than we are being told about.

But I do know a select few didn't take action and weren't going to. They are heartbroken they can't interact or even feed their pets now.

That''s fair, however I was not referring to any of your comments there, I meant the ones that called it stalking, an abuse of power etc for the mods to have taken the screenshots, when no one in the discord server seems to be disputing that they were taken by a member and sent to the mods.

Anyway, I don't feel we have enough information about the screenshot taker (for good reason) to make a judgement on whether they were doing what they felt was morally correct or just exacting revenge, so it's a moot point.

I personally wouldn't 'snitch' if I saw people talking about breaking the TOS of one site on another, but I would choose to stop interacting with those people. If I saw serious harassment/threats of harm, I would report it. *shrugs*

Getting frustrated over something like a beta game is less productive. People need to take responsibility for their actions. If they cannot see that, then it may be a more significant issue on their part. Maybe they got caught in the wrong crowd. I have been there. I was banned from a school play once for telling someone to be quiet because the teacher had not told them yet. Stuff happens, but you move on.
