(Anyone who wasn't pinged, but stumbled upon this thread and is reading this post, is welcome to reply here as well!)

I was recently asked about having a sort of discount on a set of 3 max stat pets. And upon reflection, since my price for my pets are more expensive than others, I'm more than happy to come up with some sort of discount for a bundle!
So I pinged everyone who were past customers and also other interested people to get input on how I should do this. ;u;

Whatever the discount will be, it will be applied for everyone, both past and future buyers, in this way:
- people who already bought 3 pets from me will get a refund of however much was discounted by CoDing me!
- whoever already bought 1 pet from me will have the discount calculated out from the cost of the other two pets, if they choose to buy 2 more pets to make a bundle
(a.k.a. if you have 1, you can buy 2 more to equal the overall bundled price ouo)

Now, as it stands, each aeri is 675k + infertility OR 1.05mil flat (where I'll provide the infertility myself).
A set of three pets would come out to be 2.025mil (2,025,000 gold) plus 3 infertilities, or 3.15mil alone. (prices pending I didn't know infertility philters are 100 diamonds now woops)

What would be a good discount on a bundle that would be convincing to buy 3 at once? o:
I'd like to have a basic 300 diamonds covered for the price of infertility philters (so 750k minimum to account for philters), and then some gold per aeri. At this point, I'd like to get more gold for the aeris being themed, but at the same time, I do realized that they're about twice as expensive as other stat pets. I'm a bit tentative on pricing to be the same as a nonthemed pet (despite having some plain genes), but at the same time, I aim to please...so...yeah. ;u;

While I prefer variety so I probably wouldn't buy 3 of any one max-stat offspring (plus being themed, I'd feel icky about dying them to distinguish which of the 3 is which), I'd have thought there would be something catchy about "Buy 2, Get 1 Free!" (my thought would probably be to still require payment for the Infertility filter for the third pet so you're not eroding your profits) or "Buy 2, Get the Third for Half Price!" (either with / without payment required for the Infertility filter for the third pet).

Costing with the two suggestions:

Suggestion 1

(375k x 3) + (675k x 2) = 2,475,000 which would work out at 450,000 per Aeri after the filter cost has been removed

Suggestion 2

With filter required:

(375k x 3) + (675k x 2) + (675k / 2) = 2,812,500 which would work out at 562,500 per Aeri after the filter cost has been removed

Without filter required:

(375k x 2) + (675k x 2) + (675k / 2) = 2,437,500 which would work out at 437,500 per Aeri after the filter cost has been removed


All of them, I suppose, result in an individual Aeri cost which is higher than what most non-themed max-stat pets are going for.

I suppose, depending on where you want to go with this, you could also request that people not on-sell the pets to avoid the scenario where people aren't actually buying three for themselves but rather that they're working with a syndicate of three just to take advantage of the discount.

Hmmm.... I like the idea of a discount for a full set, particularly since that 675k is so much higher than the others.

The Lighs I've seen, would all need dye to make them non-bleh. So, that'd need to be factored in to them. But the Griffis Maimah has are fantastic colors and interesting and varied genes, up to 4, so its easy to get a set of 3 that are distinct.

I'd say, since they are themed but have rather non-spectacular genes, that 300k + Filter for each if you buy 3 at the same time would be fair (buyer supplies the filters). Its higher than what Maimah charges, but not so much higher. I winced when I saw your prices, and wouldn't have bought even 1 if I hadn't wanted a max-stat for the Festival. I like my girl, but.... I think you'd sell a lot more with much lower prices.

At 300k + filter, I'd be very tempted to buy 2 more..... Despite currently having 3 max-stats and multiple nearly-max-stat fighters. I'd probably feel the need to dye 2 of them, though. The genes aren't varied enough for them to be distinct, so to me... the being themed is a wash.

To be honest, if I'm going to dip down to 300k per pet (where the original cost was 675k for one, plus philter), I'd have to make a pre-order list, and I'd only go down to such a price if I sold x amount of aeris.
At that point, I'm selling the fact that they're max stat (because most affordable max stat pets are in the 300k range), and nothing more, so I'd be looking for a bigger quantity of buyers to make up for the prices.

Ideally, 450k-500k each would be great, but...eh. Much like Cyradis said, the color scheme just doesn't help for some people (win some lose some lol). I'd love those prices, but if I could sell like say 20 aeris (just a big number) for 300k each, that'd be nice....

So, the ideas I see now (philters not included in prices):
-bogo either free or half off, resulting in about 450k-500k per aeri?, or
-300k each for a preorder list of 20+

/wonders who else could contribute oAo;
I feel like my aeris are kinda running into a dead end soon aha.

I personally didn't mind the steep price. I appreciate the amount of time and gold/diamonds were put in to them so my bundle price didn't really matter to me. As for other customers, I can't exactly say the same of course, but I will say that I would feel no need to CoD you if you changed your mind about the pricing :)

And I just realized that if I really do sell over 30, I should give past buyers a discount for buying my aeris for more aha. ;u; (I don't mind it at all really!)
