just making a ping list so i'll stop pinging who i'm NOT supposed to lol...
anyways, again, if you are not pinged, it means you did not pass into the next round (which will be the ping AFTER this ping)
^seriously, do not post an entry if you are not pinged for the 'second round' and no I am not listing names of who passed and who isn't as I'd like to keep that as a bit of a secret...
...and yes this current ping is going to everyone who had posted a story....

Congrats to those who got the ping, you have made it pass first round, now onto.... THE SECOND ROUND!
So far a lot of you have shown a very interesting writing style, as well as your capabilities of writing with a short simple prompt and taking it to the next level of creativity and imagination. I hope you guys are ready for the next round....
But before we get into what you guys are writing for the next round, I am going to need to clarify some rules, as well as I would like your full attention, as what I am about to say is extremely important...
1. The first round was the 'entry' round so of course you've probably noticed that I was perfectly alright with having you guys re-write your stories if you had to, as well as I was fine giving you little pushes or hints if you made an error in your story, there won't be any of that this time, so please check your stories through thoroughly.
2. I won't warn you when the deadline is getting close or not anymore, so keep a watch for it. (I may still bump this thread if it should fall off)
3. If you should happen to copy/plagiarize your story, you won't be getting a 're-write' anymore, you'd just be disqualified the moment the round is over, so please do not try anything funny with me to see if you could sneak a plagiarized story past me. I will not say anything about it, even during the contest round, you'll just be kicked the moment the round ends...so to sum it up, DO NOT TRY TO, even if it was an 'accident' or not...
4. I won't say it, but I will be reading your stories as you post it, and admittedly I do come back often to read it through.
5. If you want to read someone's entry, wait till the round is over...well, unless if you are someone who can read other's entry without feeling inspired by their's, or discouraged, by it (personally I would prefer it if you did not get inspired by someone else's story while you are writing your own, you may not be aware of it, but some aspect of the other competitor's stories may seep into your own...be careful, so read after the round is over, if you wish to)

What is in the second round:
Please read the instructions very, VERY carefully...
I will have some music listed out, you are to pick ONE music that inspires you most, and write a story to it. HOWEVER... the main rules to this is:
1. I will call the song options as 'song 1', 'song 2', 'song 3'....etc, so you call it as such too.
2. when you post your entry, list the song name as 'song 1', 'song 2', 'song 3'....etc, do not post the song's actual name at all.
3. You can quick click on tabs right? well, when you listen to each song options, DO NOT....look at the song name, as well as do not look at whatever video...pictures they used for the song....just...go to blank document or something, and stare at it while listening to the music...maybe even close your eyes to listen or something...just try not to let 'outside distractions' break into your inspirations too much while listening to each song...
4. Please have the song and story connect/or inspired from as much as you can because I will be playing the music when I read your story....try

(remember, don't look at the song name, do not look at the pictures, do not look at who its from, don't be tempted to look, you want a story that comes from your mind, not influenced by what you have just seen, so free your mind a little while listening and write, well, after you picked the song to use...as well as luckily I have picked several songs, so more to pick from...do not use any song that isn't on this list)

unfortunately not this time as it would be too many stories to go through, as well as some people didn't get to finish theirs or removed theirs so that would be a bit hard... :/

extra small ping, sorry for the many pings...may i also recommend you switch onto check out the other music if the one you are listening to does not really make you 'feel' it, like, no story comes instantly to mind, or after a few seconds in...etc...etc, dunno, just, however works best for you when writing a story from music.

i have alot for everyone's, but it would be too much to write onto here, as well as some people may feel a bit uncomfortable if they see for instance, one person pets more comments than the others...etc...etc...
as well as I am trying to keep this thread as neat as possible...
(not me if you want to know, but I'd preferably like to save the comments for the end of the contest maybe)
