Morrkos! Love them to death, they are my sylestian children. The only thing that concerned me was the Shaman trait. Would the added accessories change the trait?
Anyways, I'm going to go play with my babies :P

Time to throw in my two cents! The Morkkos have been my favorite ever since I joined and looked over the species list, so I've had a lot of time to grow attached to them. I'll try to remain as unbiased as possible. I'll be one of the first to admit they aren't perfect, and I'm glad that they're getting some work done to them. However, I'm afraid with this first look at the revamp that it drifts away from the original idea, or at least my interpretation of it, a little too much. I understand where many others are coming from when they say that the Morkko is a fantasy species and shouldn't be too closely compared to actual bears. But it is very clear to me at first glance of the original Morkko design that it is close to a bear. Because of that, the pretty dramatic change to these sleeker, almost feline features, is a bit much for me.
For a little more specific feedback, I am really happy that some of the more troublesome areas have been worked on. As much as I love my Morkkos, I can't help but try to avoid looking directly at their feet sometimes. In general, the hatchling boy has been a problem for me, but I really like the new pose and style for him. I do, however, have to agree that his back right leg and stomach do look a tad off currently.
I'm very glad that the hatchling girl remains in pretty much the same cute pose that I have come to adore. The feathers look almost like she has a leaf or something hanging out of her mouth to me currently, but that will probably easily be changed once shading and layering becomes visible. On that note, I actually do like the addition of the permanent feathers, they're subtle and very fitting to the Morkko lore. However, I'm not really the biggest fan of the bracelets on the adults. I like the idea of it and would love to maybe see something else along the same lines. Perhaps just adding a new type of bracelet mutation would be better than always having them.
For the adults, the back left foot of the male looks a little awkward to me. I also am leaning a little more towards the 'I wish he didn't look so angry' crowd. I've always liked the attitude the current male gives, but I think it has been pushed a tad far. I think the details in the fur, especially around the shoulders, are a nice addition to the adult male.
I always wished the female looked a little less sweet and innocent, so the change to something more fierce is nice in her. She looks grizzled and wise to me, much like the image the idea of a Morkko brings to mind. I agree with some others that the claws are a bit much, and it's particularly noticeable on the adult female for me. Overall, I really like the change for her. For some reason, I'm usually happier with the adult females of all of the species, so this might just be me being picky.
Thank you to the artists for taking our comments into consideration and working so hard to make a great species even better! I hope that once it's all done there will be more people in the Morkko fan club. It gets a little lonely in here sometimes! ;w;

I definitly like the new look, but I feel like it looks a little to realistic for my taste. Just my opinion.

OH MY GOD CHIPOTLE (don't mind the chipotle part XD) I lovelovelovelove the new look! I feel like it's just so much more powerful now because before, no offense but, it didn't really look like a fierce bear would look. But now, now it's like the king of all bears or somethin'! I really like it.

I love the new looks they have going on, but I have to agree with some of the things being said. I think maybe their claws could be scaled down a bit. I can't put my hand on it, but something is off with the adult males left hind leg. I like the permanent accessories, but maybe the adult females bracelet could be smaller. And I was wondering why the hatchling female doesn't have the same fangs as the others. The male hatchling has them.
Though even with all this, I think they have been improved greatly. Thank you for all your hard work, it is appreciated.

Brilliant. I love it. :) Kudos to the awesome artist. That was the adults.
The babies? Do not like. What abuse happened to them when they were smiling, cutesy little bundles of fluff to turn them into such fierce, savage adults? Maybe they contracted rabies? ;) Yeah, too cute, way too cute, for my taste. This breed should be savage even when they're babies...or at the very least, they should have a tad more badass attitude...I don't dig the female pose...the pose itself, I get it, but this example isn't quite right, something is off, and I have no clue what it is...
Ah, well, I'm sure the end result will be pleasing to most. :)
Thanks for your time and effort everyone involved..
