Mio ran along the dirt path, Luca by her side.
I'm going to be the greatest Mega-Evolution master one day! I just know it! she thought to herself.
She picked up the pace towards Oreburgh.
"Luca, do you think we'll be able to defeat Roark?" Mio asked.
"Rio! Riolu!" Luca said, nodding.
Mio stopped suddenly.
"There it is..." Mio said, panting slightly.
"Riolu." Luca said.
"It's rather small. Lumiose is way bigger." she said, slightly unimpressed.
"Rio." Luca nodded. Mio walked towards the pokemon center

"T-thank you, but you don't have to worry, I'm fine, this isn't the first time this has happened, I"m just a little shaken up is all" Sylver said, thanking her for the help. "S-so, where are you headed to?" Sylver asked the girl.

"There you go! You're pokemon are fighting fit!" Nurse Joy said, bringing out a tray with Mio's three pokemon. Chansey pushed a stretcher which Luca sat on, looking content.
"Rio!!!" Luca said excitedly, jumping off the stretcher.
"Good to have you back, buddy!" Mio said, hugging the Fighting-type.
"Riolu." Luca said, nodding in agreement.
"Thank you, Nurse Joy, and you too, Chansey." Mio said.
"Chans-Chansey!" the normal-type said, bowing.
"Bye!" Mio said, running out of the center. "You ready, Luca?"
"Riolu!" Luca nodded.

Ashley set out from Eterna Town, Dusty peeking out of her backpack.
"Where do you think we should go?"
"Inch Pinch Trapinch?"
"I don't know either."

The walls of the gym were solid rock. On a raised platform stood Roark, the Oreburgh City gym leader.
"Are you looking for something?" Roark asked.
"I'm here to challenge the gym leader of the Oreburgh City gym." Mio said.
"Well then, let's not leave you disappointed. Welcome. This is the Oreburgh Pokmon Gym. I'm Roark, the Gym Leader. I'm but one Trainer who decided to walk proudly with Rock-type Pokmon. As the Gym Leader, I need to see your potential as a trainer. And, I'll need to see the toughness of the Pokmon that battle with you." Roark said.
"This battle is between Oreburgh City Gym Leader Roark, and Challenger Mio Fuladari. This is a three-on-three battle. Only the challenger may switch out pokemon. The match ends when one trainer is unable to battle. Begin." the Referee said.
"Okay then. I choose my Riolu, Luca." Mio said. Luca strode onto the field.
"Geodude! I choose you!" Roark said, throwing a pokeball.
A Geodude. I have a type advantage. Mio thought.
"Luca! Commencez avec un perforateur!" Mio commanded.
"Rioooolu!" Luca cried, knocking out the Rock/Ground-type with a Drain Punch.
"Go Onix!" Roark said, sending out his second pokemon.
"D'accord, utilisez double kick!" Mio commanded.
"Onix..." the Rock Snake pokemon said, collapsing to the ground, unconscious.
"Alright then, Cranidos! I choose you!" Roark sent out his final pokemon.
"Luca, utilisez le punch de drainage puis double kick!" Mio said.
Luca pummeled the Rock-type with a Drain Punch, then a Double Kick, knocking Cranidos out cold.
"Great job Luca!" Mio cheered, hugging the Fighting-type.
Suddenly, Luca started to glow. Before Mio knew it, Luca had evolved into Lucario.
"Luca!" Luca said happily.
"Thank you for the battle. Without it, Luca would have never evolved!" Mio said.
"Here. You earned it." Roark said, handing her Coal Badge and the TM: Stealth Rock.

Kai approached the gym boldly, knowing he had the advantage. He sent out Shello, his Eastern sea Shellos, who had been depressed recently, due to the loss of his best friend, Shelly, a Western shellos. "C'mon Shello, I know it's not the same without her, but you're still great, and you need to get stronger to rescue her, I promise we'll get her back some day" Kai reassured his Pokemon. He greatly missed Shelly, her and Shello were the perfect team and best friends, but with Shelly gone, Shello barely would do anything, and would often stay inside his ball, which Kai knew wasn't healthy for the Shellos.

"Lu, Flo, you guys come fight too" Kai called out the rest of the team. "Shello, you're up first" Kai gently called out his first pokemon to battle the first trainer in the gym. He easily defeated the geodude with a quick water gun. "Good job Shello, see? isn't it fun? Just like old times" Kai said gently, picking up the sea slug, who just looked at him and smiled slightly, but Kai could still see how sad he was. "C'mon little buddy, let's go show Roark what you're made of" Kai said, reassuring his Shellos.

"Shello, water gun!" Kai commanded his pokemon, who used the move, but barely put any effort in. "Shello! C'mon, please! you need to do this if you want to save Shelly!" Kai yelled to his pokemon, this seemed to make him perk up slightly. "Alright! again!" He called, this time Shello used the attack with more enthusiasm, defeating the geodude. "Okay Shello, come back now, that's enough for now" Kai said, returning his Shellos. "Lu, you're up next!" He called, sending out a Lotad. "Razor leaf! then Water gun!" He calmly commanded his Lotad, which easily defeated the Onix. "Okay, last up, Flo!" He sent out his Buizel. "Rain dance, then aqua jet!" Kai called, using this special strategy, he took out the Cranidos in an instant. "Good god Flo!" Kai praised his pokemon returning it.

Kai gladly recieved his Coal badge. "Okay Shello, let's go for a walk around, you need the excercize, being this lazy isn't healthy for you" Kai called out his Shellos, picking it up, he walked out of town, eager to get back to the plant life and closer to water.

(I completely forget what Pokmon live in sinnoh all the regions have merged in my mind)

"Uh...here's your Pokmon..." nurse joy said nervously watching as misty and William yelled at each other. "Weak link!" "Shrimp!" "Idiot!" "Imbecile!" "Hey don't copy me!" "I didn't!" "Did too!" Did not!" "Did too" did not!"(repeats a hundred times) nurse joy watched the fight nervously unsure as to who was saying what. "Did too!" "Did not!" "Did not!" "Did too!...wait..." William said confused. "Haha! Gotcha!" Misty cackled evilly. "Oh, you didn't want to do that." William warned smiling crookedly. But you could 'see' in his eyes he meant no harm. "Why?..." misty asked nervously. William launched his attack taking misty to the floor and....tickling her viciously, misty crying out laughing as her big brother mersilously took advantage of her weakness.

Eventually they stopped, collected there Pokmon and continued on they're way. Traveling merrily, in companionable silence.

Kai accidentally walked into the bickering siblings as he walked. He almost dropped the sea slug on his shoulder, struggling to hold the slippery pokemon. "Oh, sorry, I didn't notice you guys there, Shello's sorry for bumping into you guys too, right buddy?" Kai looked at the pokemon in his hands, which gave a quiet, apologetic gurgle in response.

"Oh my god it's adorable!" Misty squealed. "That's supposed to be cute?" William said amused yet confused. "Oh, hush you." Misty batted playfully to her brother. "Anyways..." William said tearing his attention from the Pokmon. "Names William. And we're none the worse from the trip so it's fine. Who're you?" William asked friendly.

(Oh, the tourchers I have designed for misty. *cackles evily*)

"My name's Kai" he introduced himself. "And this little cutie is Shello" he said, nuzzling the Pokemon's cheek with his finger. The Pokemon was clearly depressed, but clearly loved its trainer. Kai lifted the Pokemon back to his shoulder, it curled its head to Kai's and laid down, gurgling softly.
