Blackfire padded into the temporary Stormclan camp.
"I'm... sorry about yesterday..." he said. "I wish to join this clan. I think my fighting and hunting skills would be great use to you."

Lightningstar blinked, and her fur that had begun to rise flattened. "Why the sudden change? I thought yesterday you wanted to tear us apart." She said, hoping she didn't sound too aggressive.

"Someone convinced me." he said flatly. He didn't want to say that Scourge's spectre convinced him, they would think he was out to destroy them.

Lightningstar nodded. She understood if he didn't want to say who. Everyone had secrets, and some were meant to remain hidden. "Well, you can join our clan, although at the moment all we have for members is Stormpelt and me. I'm not sure about Fang, but she has been staying with us for now. And I a going to say we are not inexperienced in clan life, but more will be shared when we feel comfortable with it." Lightningstar nodded towards the fish. "If you haven't eaten already, you can join us."

Blackfire padded over to the fish, and devoured one hungrily.
"Thank you." he said, nodding to Lightningstar.

Lightningstar nodded, before going back to waking Stormpelt.

Stormpelt kept snoring until a paw poked her side.
"H-HUH WHAT??!! FOXES?" she screeched as the leaped up from her bed. She jumped at the sight of the cats, not recognizing them due to her sleepy vision. Her vision finally focused and she saw Lightningstar and Fang there.
"W-why did you wake me up?" she said angrily but jokily. "Were not on a dawn patrol! Or am I...." she said.

Lightningstar sighed, but there was laughter too it. "No you're not on Dawn patrol, but if you don't get up you'll miss breakfast." She slipped closer to her sleepy clanmate, before muttering, "Blackfire says he wants to join our clan, so I'm giving him a chance. I don't want any fighting, but I understand if you don't trust him yet. I don't entirely trust him either." She turned around and padded over to the giant fish. She flicked her tail in invitation to the other two cats, waiting for them to settle down before taking a bite.

She nodded as Lightningstar told her about Blackfire wanting to join the clan. She added for fun,
"NO NOT MY BREAKFAST!!" she wailed. She loved playing around with her leader. Although, breakfast was her favorite time of the day. She jumped over to the fish and waited for Blackfire. She glared at Blackfire saying in her mind: Hurry up you stupid furball! I want my breakfast!! Get a move on it!!

It seemed like moons had passed and Blackfire didn't move, almost if he was having a dream.

She rolled in the sand her black pelt being covered in sand. She watched Blackfire and Stormpelt leave camp, she wished that could be her and Hill together, talking and laughing. She shuddered at the thought of Hill being taken away by those rouges again. " Hey wait up!" She yelled her tail streaming behind her as she rushed up to them.
