This is the apple tree in the backyard. It doesn't have any apples on it yet, but it's blooming right now!

A very tiny snail! The picture is bad, but there's a close-up image to prove that the small speck on my finger is, in fact, a very small snail.

Japanese Wisteria-- it's a massive bush that has beautiful purple flowers. Smells great, too!

Geez, I felt really bad for the poor butterfly; he's a Giant Swallowtail, not that common around my house, and he was like this when I found him.

These ones have a nasty habit of growing in the exact spot that I happen to step when I'm walking in my lawn without any shoes.

These are called "Bleeding Hearts"; they have a very unique and beautiful look with a very dramatic yet fitting name. Bees also love them, so I need to look out for that during the summer, but they're still my favorite thing in my yard.
