"Well, maybe he believes that marriage should be saved for someone you love, and not choice" Oriah tells you, looking at the clam in your hands as a sad smile briefly twitched onto her face. "It may sound foreign to you, since you've been accustomed to the life and rituals of the royalty in this palace, but outside of here, most people will marry for love, even if it means losing everything" Oriah explains to you.

As you lift the clam out of the water and open it, you see what looks like a faintly glowing pearl floating on top of the water inside the shell. The water moves quickly, forming a map of the castle, showing the prince has stopped moving, and was in what seemed to be a room down the hallway on the right, upstairs, and down the western corridor.

"Well, lets get moving" Oriah tells you, standing up and fluffing the trim around her neck and brushing off her robes. "I can lead the way if needed, I like to consider myself an expert of the navigation shell" Lady Oriah says, a hint of gloating in her voice

She frowned, "I know what love is.. kind of. A loyal bond. It is not something royals can have, and they are aware of that.. it is a treasure beyond them. Marriage is a political bond, a contract between houses and laws. The only thing it has to do with love, is, well, trusting the one you are binding yourself too.." she let out a small cough and blushed, "Anyway, he is most likely allowed to have affairs"

She watched the water in awe of it's movements. She tried to guess where or what the room would be, "Lady Oriah.. perhaps it is not such a good idea. Can we just look at him? If he is conforming his father, or in a place off bounds, or with someone with high status, I'm afraid we'll just have to wait for him to calm down." she gulped, "I just hope the treat does not come from inside the palace."

She looked up at her, "Oh, I should grab you some food if he's safe.. his own will get cold, so I'l return it until he's back.." she frowned, thinking through other things.

"Well, why not just check what he's doing then?" Oriah suggested, closing the shell and turning it to the other side. "Open it on this side, and you'll be able to see what he's up to" Oriah tells you, focusing for a few seconds and opening the shell again to show you an image.

A presumably female figure could be seen, climbing up some near-vertical surface. Oriah looked on at the figure for a few seconds sadly before quickly closing the shell, shoving it towards you. "Just, do what you did before, except hold the shell this side up" She instructed you, standing up and walking over to the food tray. "No use in letting this go to waste" She shrugged "No one has to know" She says slyly, grabbing a few pieces of cheese from the tray with her long, sharp nails, popping them into her mouth.

She looked forth in shock, "L-Lady Oriah.. they'd hurt you if they found out.." she seemed nervous, "Prince Oba doesn't even know who - or what - you are. He let you in for my sake, but I think he's suspicious a little." her voice showed she was panicking between which right she should follow: the Princes, or her own ignorance.

She didn't question who the girl climbing was, but simply opened up the other side of the shell and focused on Prince Oba, begging it would show her where he was. An instinct suddenly made her stomach jump: she could check with this shell whether her herd, her family, where still alive in Ryk, or where they where now.

She shook it off, muttering to herself in a harsh voice "Traitor". If she had thoughts of returning, she would have to abandon Quillok and she could never do that. She was loyal, completely loyal.

"Maybe they'd try, but whether or not they could is a different tale" Oriah said smugly, but decided not to eat any more of the food.

As you open the shell, the water quickly formed to show Qillorik in a fighting stance, with several other figured around him. They were unmoving at Qillorik skillfully slashed what looked to be a blade through them, slashing them several times before kicking them to the ground and repeating the process.

"Did you say something?" Oriah asked, not quite hearing what you muttered. "Are we going after your prince, or waiting for him to return?" She asked, coming back to your side

"M-Ma'am she looked shocked at the threat" she then went red, "My prince? He's n-not my prince, well, he is, I serve him and all, but we aren't anything but servant and master." she became flustered and looked down at the shell with a sigh

"I'll keep it open, but for now I won't bother him. He seems to be taking his emotions out on training dummys, which is none of my business" she stood up, "I-I'll go and get you some food now, Lady Oriah. But.. can you consider hinting where we may find a magi who is of age for his sake?"

Oriah burst out laughing at how flustered you had become "Darling, I think you may have taken what I said the wrong way, I was only implying he was the one you served loyally" Oriah said with a chuckle, hiding her mouth with her fan as not to seem impolite.

"As for a Magi for your prince, well, I can't tell you one I know of, but I can tell you of a magi who might know where one is" Oriah offered. "Kenaq the Enchanter, he's an ancient magi famous for his abilities to create magic items, he's the only way to get magic items outside of dungeons" Oriah tells you. "he usually doesn't listen to requests of mortals, but if I'm there, I'm sure he'll make an exception" Oriah said with a fond grin, lowering her fan to look at it. "Though I haven't seen him since the accident" Oriah said quietly to herself

"He lives in Quyin... or at least he did last time I saw him, he should still be there, unless he was chased out my nosy humans disturbing his peace" Oriah warns you. "We should depart tomorrow morning... unless prince Oba and his new fiancee get in the way" Oriah says

You go above deck where all the sailors were going across the deck, carrying cargo, hoisting sails, pulling various ropes and doing other activities. A number of Parrats were lounging atop the masts, and the young sailor sitting in the crow's nest was waving directions from his post.

All of the sailors seemed disinterested in you, ignoring your presence as they continued doing their jobs. Olix stood at the front of the ship, giving sailors directions and instructions when they finished their tasks

"I-I'm sure Prince Oba wouldn't mind if they didn't make magic objects; I just.. know he's to be future king. He knows too. And.. we need a magi of age to confirm that without a fight" she gulped, "If it causes you trouble, please don't."

She dipped her head in a bow, putting her hands together respectfully, "I-I was thinking about what you said to do with the slum.. and I, if not Prince Oba as well, would like to get behind it.. but if you haven't guessed so far, lots of the royals see themselves as much higher: w-which they are.. but they sometimes degrade the poor.." she sighed, "They could be tricked into doing so by saying the slums ruin the cities reputation as a paradise and make it ugly, ironic for the greatest city in the world.. or patience would be needed until a more lenient power was on the throne."

She waved her hand sadly, "I doubt doing something extreme such as destroying the slum will do anything: they wouldn't rebuild it.. just kill of those who lived there. It's dog eat dog."
