Cobalt: No need to rub it in. I can still decapitate anyone here. Or at least incapacitate them. Hmm, those words sound remarkably similar.
Myra: You're also supposed to be dead.
Cobalt: Oh yeah, that incident with the Aidanians...
Myra: I'm Aidanian...
Cobalt: Right.
(It's a long story if you're interested)

(All of my stories take place in a world without a name. It's great, and very complicated.)
So basically, Nameless_World.png has six continents, named Qatoria, Aidana, Argyros, Aurelia, Valencia and Everett. Each are so different and special that they might as well be different worlds. And each has their own 'specialty'. It's difficult to explain, but it's very obvious and you'll see.
So uh yeah, I have like a lot of major stories taking place in Nameless_World. There are:
1. Valencia Academy (taking place in Qatoria, ironically, because I didn't have a better name for the academy)
2. The Confusing One With Cobalt And Myra (beginning in Qatoria but then changing to Aidana)
3. The Great War (between Argyros and Aurelia)
4. Bringing Back Serenity (starting in Aurelia and Argyros, but then running around all of the continents)
5. The Last (taking place in Everett)
6. Guardians of Valencia (taking place in Valencia)
Yes, they are all happening at the same time, more or less
So uh... that wasn't the story yet, but I was wondering if you wanted to hear the others, and also the background information will be helpful.

Alright, so I am telling "The Confusing One With Cobalt and Myra" right now.
As I mentioned earlier, it begins in Qatoria. The continent of Qatoria is mostly suburban or urban, with very little rural areas in between. And Qatoria's 'specialty' is that nearly all of the people there are either a Prodigy or an Enchanter. Being a Prodigy means that you have one major ability (very, very rarely two major abilities, although there is a slightly more likely chance that you have a second minor, weak ability, but that's not important here), such as flying or telekinesis. Being an Enchanter means that you can cast spells via hand motions and incantations. The differences between Prodigies and Enchanters are covered more in Valencia Academy.
However there is also a very rare chance that you have neither, meaning you are powerless (also important in Valencia Academy). Why is this so? Well, only people from Qatoria have the ability to be Enchanters or Prodigies, meaning if someone who was an Enchanter or Prodigy from Qatoria, uh... had kids with someone who was not from Qatoria and therefore was not an Enchanter or Prodigy, then there would be a possibility that the child would be an Enchanter or Prodigy, but also a possibility that the child would not. However, the reason being powerless in Qatoria is so rare is that the magical (Prodigy or Enchanter) genetic trait is dominant over the non-magical trait. And you're more likely to, uh, have kids with someone in your continent, obviously, so the non-magical trait is a lot less likely to show up.
Have I lost you yet? (We'll be getting into the storyline next, don't worry.)

(Now on mobile, I'm probably going to spell things wrong)
So in Qatoria, if you were powerless, no one really cared. At least, at first. Maybe you might get bullied or discriminated slightly, but nothing major major, as in 'you have to leave' major. However, in Valencia Academy, the reason the antagonist was trying to be evil and stuff was partially because he was powerless (minor spoiler). So when everyone found out about that, they were now extremely mistrusting of powerless Qatorians. It got to the point where Qatorians who were powerless were forced to leave the continent or be killed by terrified people. And some got killed while they were trying to leave anyways.
So this is where Cobalt comes in. He was a Prodigy with the ability to take away other people's pain, but he got hurt instead. So he was suffering all the time. Oh, and not to mention that he was blind. Double suffering! But he was extremely good with a sword. Because I didn't want to make him suffer too much.
Anyways, he had a friend who was powerless. And Cobalt was trying to save him and help him get out safely. But long story short, he got killed and Cobalt was severely injured. And to get him out of the way, someone teleported him to Aidana (which was why his friend was killed, Cobalt was protecting him).
Still with me?
