Traqil

His food was brought out and he eagerly began to eat, not having had eaten in a good while. He was often too busy with Zeth to remember to feed himself.

Zethrin

She smiled a bit at Scias' remark and took another bite of her muffin. The friendly waitress poured Zeth some tea as well as X some coffee.


The woman was about to speak when she was rudely interrupted by a senile old man running into the cafe.
"Now Mr.Spurge, We've discussed that it is not alright to stampede while I have guests. Please excuse yourself sir."

The old man looked shocked and confused the the woman, puffing out his chest in preparation for a retort.
"Well Loralin, I have something useful to share. Did you know some men were just carrying off a piece of a crystal that leads to Roanna's crown? I saw them! The parrot cussed me out! One had an eye patch and a gun and a laser and a car and-"

Th waitress seemed unmoved or surprised, having heard even more far fetched stories from the old man on a regular basis."^{Don't call me that}... Alright, thank you Mr.Spurge. Very helpful. Why don't you rest yourself for a moment, get all of those thoughts out for a bit and relax."

Mr.Spurge left without so much as a second glance, mumbling on about the strange men and the crystal.

"Well I guess he didn't want to rest after all. I apologize for him. He hasn't been quiet right since his wife left. Although he tells many strange stories, this is the first time he's mentioned the supposed crown. They guy must have finally tipped too far. Poor thing..." The waitress clicked her tongue in pity towards the man who still staggered out the door.
"Anyway, I better get back to the kitchen. Let me know if I can get you all anything else!"

(I guess I'll just move Kara inside)

Kara
Kara had made her way into the breakfast place just in time to hear the conversation. "What in the world?" She muttered as she stayed near the shadows. "There's no way that can be true." She said as she eyed the two people thoughtfully.

Orion
Orion, being bored now that Cillian had fallen asleep was intent on the conversation, he frowned, looking around at any of the other customers to see if they had any reactions, he was so closely to waking up Cillian, but decided to first see what the others did before he risked the wrath of bird dude.

(what's a 4th wall these guys seriously don't know)

Scias
"..Huh.. There's that crown thing the Council mentioned again. And here I just thought one of the Council Overseers was just losing it."

X
"If you're talking about Axis.. Yeah, maybe. Meant to pry him for more info, but he's a cryptic ****** as is. There's a lot of things he knows that he won't spill to anyone else. Kinda a pain."

Scias
"Well.. He did say we needed to find it, since it was supposed to stop the end of the universe or something.."

X
"I don't know how much I buy into my brother's crock of crap, kid. We're just here for information, not to go around trying to steal artifacts from other planets for some Daarizi half off their rocker."
X shrugged, sipping at his coffee.

Scias
"Wait, wait.. He's your brother?" Scias blinked before facepalming. "..Right, the last name.. X, seriously, we need to talk about this at some point. I just thought you were using a fake name or something to mess with him."

X
"Later.. And I don't know, I've considered it before. Maybe might find a reason some day."

"Min tea? Of course dear, right away..." Loralin eyed Scias and X carefully before continuing. "Well, if you know what's good for ya' you'll knock off the rumoring about the gem and mind your own. We keep to ours on this planet, so I recommend the same to you."

Traqil

He sat quietly, wondering why the man was so eager to be descriptive. Usually when people tell false stories, they stick to the bare minimum. Only truths are detailed.

Zethrin

"Must be Scias' father. What an uncanny resemblance." She mocked with a muffled chuckled

X
X flashed her his Inspector badge and designation code.
"Take it up with the Daarizi Council, ma'am, they're the ones sticking their beaks in it. We're just here on assignment."

Scias
"Excuse me?"

Morgan

"Sometimes," she answered with a slight smile. "Sometimes when you feel other things, or when you need an extra boost of motivation - think of it like storage."

(I guess... I'll keep moving then lol)

After a while of browsing, Morgan began to grow a bit hungry. Walking into a nearby place that seemed to be selling food, she noticed a group of people sitting around...including the girl she had been talking to earlier. She sat down, trying not to look too intent on their conversation - some of them seemed disgruntled.

The waitress laughed aloud at X, waving her hand at the badge in a disrespectful manner. "Your shiny little knick knack means nothing here. If anything, you'll find out less information flashing that thing around. We don't like strangers. If I get any more from you I'll have to boot you."

Zeth

"you heard me, the old man looks and acts must like you. Must be your father." She said as she teasingly tossed a crumb at Scias.

X
"Oh, I'm sure they'd love a sweet little lady like you interfering with a galactic investigation, ma'am. As far as I knew, this sector was still well within our area of jurisdiction. Y'all got something to hide on this planet?" He put it away. "Because you were sure just brushing that old man off as a nut. Maybe I'll just go ask him some questions instead."

Scias sighed. Damn it, did he always have to do this?
"Hysterical." He said flatly. "I don't have a father."
