It seems to be a dragon scale.. A huge dragon scale.

as you pick it up you realize it's huge in fact you've never seen a scale this big... you look around for tracks but can't find any...

okay. you fly up and look around at first you don't see anything then you see the same colored dragon dive below the lake (If your not at the lake tell me and i'll change it :p)
