"Is that so?" I look over at her, my gaze uncharacteristically cold for an instant, then my gaze softens.
"We shall see" I sigh, not really in the mood to argue.
He got up now that Sparrowkit was calm and padded over to you, rubbing against you again, tail tickling your nose, "Sure you aren't their mother?"
Her nose twitched at the touch, I wish... She meowed longingly, gazing at the kits. She was mostly ignoring the fact the her was rubbing against her, but her tail stiffened slightly.
