b r u h I beat a guardian in one hit with a shield and three hearts
lemme tell ya how to do:
1) raise yer shield & target the guardian
2) w a i t
3) do not hit A to parry as soon as the guardian shoots at you
4) hit A to parry when the beam is almost at you
I recommend practicing on broken and immobile ones first, at a reasonable distance to work on timing

I use the lynel mask too. If there is a cliff nearby I climb up it and paraglide down on their backs for massive damage! With the mask they practically let you land on their backs lol.

Oh yeah. Waiting till they stop to breathe and then running up to climb on their backs is best strat ;w; (well, the best I can do :T)
