(Gotta make things a little bit difficult for you lot sometimes c:)
Numbat has firewood set up but hasn't lit it yet. "Did you manage alright?" he asks.
The phoenix are back, and are waiting impatiently with two rodents. They look eager to eat but they still wait for you to skin the animals first.

Just rolling grasslands with the occasional wildflower patches. Rocks sometimes poke up from the earth like the teeth of some mighty creature.
You recognise the spot you left the yeti at. At first you can't see it at all, but then you follow the sound of splashing and find it bathing in the river. Its bedraggled fur looks better than what it looked like before, but it can't hide the raw patches where the cuffs were and how thin and starved the creature is.
It notices you and makes a rumbling noise, watching you from the water.

"Alright." Nicote nods. "Let's get going then." He was eager to be out of here....and away from hisbrother.

Delirious waves, if it wants to stay down there she won't stop it form doing so. She takes a few steps back from the edge before surveying her surroundings looking for things that could be used to make a fire. If there are none she decides that she'll begin wandering around looking for shelter.
She doesn't want to be left out alone in the cold...
The rotted bark peels away to allow light to fall on an onyx ring. It glints in the faint light, propped on top of a spindle of wood as if even the tree that left this stump behind wanted to have as little contact with it as possible.
"I don't know about mushrooms, but that looks like it would be worth something," Brazentalon chirps, stepping closer to get a better look.
"I think it might be the reason why the clearing was formed in a weird way. Maybe somebody put magic on it or something? Could explain the weird stump." I say and prod the ring to see if anything happens. If nothing bad happens, I pick it up to look at it better.

(There is no specific time in Anaia. Doing that for every single person who have progressed different amounts of time would be too difficult to do, and as for seasons you would eventually have ages in one that made everything harder. Instead, familiars grow up with in-game days and seasons are roughly the same as in real life. So everyone will start experiencing snow wherever they are - though for example if they're in the mountains it will be more likely - by real-life 15th of November in this Anaian year)
"Hm... at this rate (roughly judging from how quickly time is going for you so far) I'd say the snows could come possibly in 3-4 (Anaian) days," Torgdan shrugs. "Really depends."
(Oop sorry I've been busy with exams recently)
"So we can dawdle around for... around 2 days?" I mentally calculate. "Then we'll have to head back."

(Oh yeah, he was here too - forgot that)
Balthur's gaze lingers on your whitening hair before he goes outside. With a deep breath, he trots down the street.
"Come on then. You'll end up as an ice block if you stand out in the cold air much longer," he says. "We'll need to get the cart from the parking area before we even think about getting Knight strapped in."

(Sounds good to me. Just doing it with a hatchet would be clumsier than a smaller, thinner knife, for example)
It takes a while, and its a less than perfect job, but by the end of it the phoenix are fed and you have two animal skins left over. With more practice, you'll be able to make higher quality skins.
2 low quality small skins added to inventory

The grasslands have very little in the way of a fire source until you reach the actual river, which has a small wood on either side. Right now you're just at one of its tributaries. The only thing that will burn would be the dried grass that sways in the wind, but that's only good for kindling and will burn too quickly to be of any use as a main fire.
Shelter is simpler. Finding a small cave around rock formations isn't uncommon.
