Good Morning Everyone!!!

(READ EVERYTHING, As there is important information in this post!!!)

I am reaching out to you for a couple of things. First off being, don't forget to sign up for Secret Santa if you haven't already done so and would like to participate. You only have until the 20th to sign up. For further information click here. For those wondering when I will hand out names so you can do your hunt for present and or presents depending on your giving spirit...I will be handing them out on the 20th!!


Secondly, I want to talk about the Coca-Cola challenge. I am seeing a lot of participation, and a very few whom haven't even started a submission yet. That is a very good turn of events. I hope all will participate, but we shall see.

The only hang up, is that I am waiting on a number of you whom have submitted your design posts to fix a few things with in it before I can accept it as being eligible. The primary problem this go around is that a number of you seem hung up on the critique. Remember, we need specifics. What works well with others, and what does not. Like specific hexcode colors to specific traits or what have you. Simply saying it looks great but you should change this color to that doesn't really help the designer understand what truly works well with something to what does not in there design and leaves a very vague feel to the critique. I know I have reach out to a number of you privately as of late, and for those that I haven't please review the "ENTRIES THUS FAR" post. If your design is not there, check your design post out. This is your last reminder that you need to fix it before deadline.

If you do not fix the errors before deadline folks after I have made every attempt to assist and aid you, then you will be seen a blatantly ignoring the requirements and communications from the DCU staff and or fellow members. And of course you know what that means, and I would seriously hate to have to hand out marks for something that could have been easily resolved. I don't like being the bad guy, but I do need to be fair and uphold the guidelines and rules straight across the board for everyone. So please do me the favor and fix what needs fixing so I don't have to be the bad guy. I want everyone to have fun here and enjoy the DCU. It is meant to be a fun place where we can all learn and enjoy doing what we love to do. And of course that is to design!

Shimeree, you did an amazing job. The only thing that you need to change to make it eligible is to put your altered piece right next to your original. There can be nothing in between, no imaging. I prefer no wording of any kind either. But we need to be able to do a side by side comparison. Fix that and you are golden hon.

Maybe put your flavor image before your designs might help.

All right everyone, I have completed my updates thus far. If you would be so kind as to check the ENTRIES THUS FAR post to see if your designs are there, that would be great. If not, then you are still missing a submission and or your design post errors have not yet been corrected. PMs will go out today as a final private heads up. After that you will given a mark if you fail to heed the ample warnings and heads up on trying to correct the matter if deadline has passed and you still have not correct the issue.
